Loved this and how you explain so thoroughly. I have been making these pinafores for about two years but a little different. When I attach the back pieces to the front piece, I leave about a 2 inch gap for turning rather than turning through, the strap area, only on one set not both. Just makes it a little bit easier to pull the fabric through. You do have to make sure you stitch down that one side when you go to topstitch the entire pinafore. I learned this from viewing Crafts Channel (how to make a pinafore/mobius)

It is super cute, and I just made one of these a couple of weeks ago. Someone posted a hack on the LLK Facebook group that makes a tidier shoulder. I couldn’t find it when I needed it and did the shoulders this way. It isn’t an easy shoulder to put together in a satisfactory way. 🥴
