Fabric method is easy,though,like you said the pattern can be reused.

Cutting on fabric method is simpler but personally I prefer patterns, for this particular dress tho, I’ll cut on fabric 🤣… they’re both great methods

Using the pattern method. Is it not possible to use the front pattern to cut the back instead of going through the process of slash and spread on the back again

Did you use the stretchy or non stretchy crepe?

For me the fabric method is the similar one

No shoulder allowance and hemming allowance. And for the armhole depth you didn’t go in by half inch on the fabric on the pattern you didn’t alter the front.
