You reminded me of a time, when i was knitting blankets. I did 20 across, and that made a square. I had a large bed, and the made blanket was big enough to go across and down the sides. Autumn colours are the best.

We don't get a lot of autumn colors here, not like up north. However, I find a lot of beauty in the different shades of brown and gold. With all the recent rain we've been having its still quite green! Unusual, but I'll enjoy it! The autumnal colors are coming soon enough!
Green is my favorite color and I love knitting. I try to use only wool, cotton or silk, alone or on combination when knitting. I hope you're going to show us the finished blanket. Oh the glorious colors in Bealtaine Woodland Sanctuary are so inviting!

The autumn colours are so vibrant at Bealtaine. I love the many shades of green, the reds and oranges🌿🌺🌻🌷🍀🍁. How well you have chosen . I love your various green wools🐑🐏. Tempting to sew them all together with black, or avocado green for the deeper contrast????😎

Fall is my favorite season in the wheel of the year. And for our enjoyment, the maples are donning their reds, rusts and golds here in Northeast Washington State. Autumn will forever be my favorite color palette! It's just magnificent! Bealtaine is SO colorful and lovely!!Plus I'm a knitted poncho freak (my superhero capes), and I get SO excited when I can bust them out of hibernation!! Seeing the wool skeins you bought gets my heart all a-fluttering! GREAT colors for a poncho!! I love your idea for the skirt! Can't wait to see you "rock" it! (You DO have a flair for putting together neat outfits!!)
