French beginner here ! Hi ! I'am so happy to see English people talk about Belene Paris ! She is a lovely woman, her patterns are amazing (some of them are MUST HAVE among the french sewing Community :), the finishes are stunning and the explanations clear. I really hope you will try them ! LOve your selection by the way !

I was absolutely blown away when I found her! The patterns are some of the most gorgeous I've ever seen, totally my style too. I'm definitely going to give one a try! If you have any other French designers that you love please send them my way, I'd love to discover more ❤️

@@ginaseams I can think of AtelierBernie (more vintage vibe, really elegant and again many variations possible); Atelier Des Premières (modern and quit versatile style); Maison Fauve (they have a RU-vid chanel) and Méthode Mathilde (she launched her brand recently and is really vintage vibe with amazing technique and professional finishes. Hope you will find something that you like ❤

Thank you for the video! I searched that last Mood dress because I couldn't see the link and found it! The Yarrow dress is sooo pretty and has actually been on my sewing list I realized, you just showed different photos than Mood has on their website! Might actually make that with a metal zipper in the back, kind of like a clash between drape and modern and might hack it into a blouse... super happy I found your channel!

Thank you for another lovely video and such fun ideas! I found you a month or two ago and now very much look forward to your posts. They're such a nice addition to muy time in the sewing studio (or anywhere else!) And after watching this video I think I may finally take the plunge on a bustier top with the rose cafe pattern. :D. Thank you for that extra inspiration! Also please don't apologize for longer videos. Personally, I love when they're on the longer side and would happily watch you review twice as many patterns or more! Heck, I'd even watch a top 100 hundred countdown, although that would probably be a bit too much work for one segment. I'd be thrilled to hear your thoughts on something like your favorite 10-20 top patters or skirt patterns or dress patterns, etc. Maybe a similar video on your top favorite ways to hack patterns. Whatever you put out next I'm sure I'm sure it will be wonderful! Happy sewing! :D

I have a holiday party coming up and one of my co-workers asked me if I will make a dress. Lol Now I have the pressure but am thinking I will make the McCall’s M8339. In the right fabric would be very cute for my holiday party! Great video.

Thank you for the inspiration! I’ve got some holiday parties coming up (including hosting one!), and my holiday birthday, and want to sew up some of my lovely velvet and silks. I’m thinking of making a velvet wrap dress using Simplicity 9639 or a top using McCalls 7892. Not going to lie, I’m a little scared to cut into and sew velvet, but if I start now maybe I’ll get it done in time! Happy sewing!

Hi, thanks for the pattern ideas. I really like the MoodsFabrics Nettle Dress, is there any video tutorials for it out there that you know of? I struggle with written instructions but really want to make this for Christmas 🎄. Keeping my fingers crossed?

Hiya, sorry for the late reply! It's such a gorgeous dress, I haven't seen any yet but will keep my eyes peeled. I'm hoping to make one in the Summer with some chiffon fabric, if I do I'll film a tutorial in case the instructions are anything like the ones on the Clementine!!

@@ginaseams that would be great thanks. The more I look at it the more I would love a midi length, however I’ll wait until I see how you get on.

@@ginaseams I’m in the process of making some linen pyjamas right now, then I’m going to try the TDCO method on a pair of trousers I have a pattern for. If I can get those two done by the end of the month, I’d absolutely love to try the Vicki Sews jumpsuit you showed 😍 I had a gorgeous dressy green jumpsuit from Zara years ago that is too small for me now and I would love to replace it 🤗

Hello. Have to write something. You look Fantastic. The hair. The dress and make up. I watched some of your videos several times. You are the only one I know in RU-vid creating such lovely dresses with these beautiful prints. More womanly like. And not these dresses hiding every extra Gramm we have on our hips or so. We are woman. Getting children. Giving birth. Breastfeed. Our body is not perfect. The trend is often more with linen, earth tones. Or the vintage pattern. But all your clothes are wearable. Even on a daily basis or special events. Not toooooo extravagant but beautifully elegant. The other video you showed some of your dresses and asked what to do with. I am just a beginner so I can not help you … but I noticed something. You showed the dress you loved specially with breastfeeding. So I had an idea and question. I am pregnant with my second son. With my first son I had shorts in summer or kind of Jogging shorts and shirts. Fast Lift the shirt and breastfeed. I felt horrible. I wanted to look beautiful. Wanted to wear dresses. But I didn’t want to be almost fully naked if I have to lift a complete dress. But maybe you could make a video to it. Many moms and new moms out there could get some help. For us sewing beginners or advanced. I just sew clothes for my son. It makes no sense to sew for me now. Almost 7th month pregnant. But in spring I want to sew me 2-3 dresses for summer. Until then I want to learn and get my skills better. So no videos out there about us new moms breastfeeding and dresses. Always shirts. But I don’t want to wear only shirts. Please give some advice or pattern or tips. And I do not look very often at Pinterest or instagram. But who do you follow or love? Get your inspiration? A video please. 😊 Btw. Love your fabric haul. Could watch thousand times. These prints …. 😍 Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪
