Thank you this is very thorough. I haven’t sewn in 40 years. I bought this at Costco and thought I can get things going based on things I learned 40 years ago. I had trouble with everything. The threading kept coming out/ loosening and there were thread build up at the bobbin area. I set it aside months ago. Now I have found you and can just start over from scratch with this machine. This is my first sewing machine in 40 years
Well, my daughter just brought this machine for my birthday gift, and while I'm anguishing waiting for my delivery. I decided to start learning all the features available on the machine before its arrival. I'm already impressed with the capabilities of the machine. This will be my first computerized sewing machine and I can't wait for it to get here. I wanted to thank you for this tutorial video because honestly, I had no idea of how to operate a computerized sewing machine. I look forward to watching your other videos so that I know where to purchase additional accessories for my machine.

Thank you for your feedback, Darlene. I like the big buttons, too. I think they're great for beginner sewists or for those with dexterity issues. They're easier to select. Happy Sewing!
I don’t like that the individual stitches are slanted. Not a good machine for topstitching. Thankfully I have a singer older than me that makes beautiful straight stitches. All machines have cast aluminum frames.
