I think the problem with the Carrie character is that - we all grew up , and she didn’t.

I didn't realize how Samantha was such a crucial part of the show.. without her the other three are just not bearable

Can we talk about how Carrie didn’t deserve Aiden.. was so upset how she treated him

Natasha deserved that million dollars, and glad he had he realized the pain he caused and tried to make amends.

Being an adult is realizing how absolutely toxic Carrie is. Everything has to be about her. And just like that...I'm done watching this series

Natasha setting healthy boundaries and not fixating on a time in her life that was years and years ago and actually moving on with her life. Carrie still retaining the psyche the insecure, neurotic, codependent 20-something year old. And just like that… we all realize who the real villain in the series is.

She’s more upset about this than his death.

After what Natasha went through, I'm surprised Big didn't leave her more.

Carries reaction is just as annoying as she was in the series. Like he did a good thing leaving an ex wife some money after cheating on her and putting her through a lot. Carrie makes it about her though.

Carrie always struck me as the worst possible friend any woman could ever have. Her character was more of a cautionary tale for women who seek advise from toxic, narcicistic women who steer them on the wrong path. Clearly she's still the same person.

Good to see that Carrie who got the guy and everything else can still manage to whip up an unnecessary drama which she is the centre of. Imagine aging all those years and never growing up.

And just like that, Natasha let us reminding how childish Carrie still is.

Natasha has aged beautifully and naturally. Not plastic surgery face like some.

I like how Stanford took Samantha's place at the brunch table. Such a shame he passed in real life.

Can I just say I miss Samantha? She was my favorite on the show. Loved her in Mannequin and all her other work. She made the show for me.

Natasha is so dignified. I like her. Though I don't like Carrie harassing Natasha, I'm still very satisfied with their relatively peaceful closure.

Tacky as hell cheating in the martial bed, poor Natasha still getting stalked decades later, someone needed to tell Carrie to cut her crap, or better yet Natasha get a restraining order

I’m 26, the same age that Natasha was, and I’m so glad this happened. Natasha was a beautiful young woman but lacked the life experience that Carrie and Big had. She was obviously a rebound and arm candy for Big to get over his fear of vulnerability with Carrie. He was using her, and Carrie should have had compassion for her fellow woman rather than increase her pain by having an ongoing affair with her husband. I am so happy Big tried to make amends for this. Carrie is so disgusting and unlikeable lmao she deserves to be alone. Samantha wised up and left that crazy world behind.

As a mature woman I now realize this show glorifies toxic/cheating. I hope 2022 is the year us women level up, open our eyes and decide once and for all that sleeping with another woman's man is a BIG NO, that we respect each other and help one another.

Carrie is codependent. Thinking, and believing that she is only relevant when her relationships and life go the way she wants. Instead of accepting the fact that you can't change people, or control their actions. That the only thing you can control is how you deal with it.

Will we ever see a "And Just Like That" moment when Carrie becomes aware of her lack of respect for others boundaries? I prefer to think that Sam realized how toxic Carrie truly is and ran to the airport and took the first flight going anywhere to get away from Carrie. How long is Carrie viable? She's still a toxic shoe model.

They didn't need to bring this show back, just leave the shows that were popular in the 90's and 2000's alone. Those are shows specific to that era and do not fit with the current political and social climate.

Natasha deserves it and more. Classy move from Big. Classic Carrie showing up to confront Natasha. I cannot stand that.

My only disappointment is that we didn’t see more of Big & Carrie together finally happy going about their lives before they killed him off. If he’s been seen going about the city maybe they’ll have Carrie having flashbacks of their life together which means we’ll still be seeing bits & pieces of them together. One can only hope! Otherwise it would be cruel to never see them together after all the ups & downs that relationship went through. Women love happy endings even if it’s just on the screen.

Carrie is still childish on this show I see! The minute when I saw the one million dollars in the will I was like this makes since because the man did have a whole affair on his wife. If I’m not mistaken Natasha fell down the stairs and chipped her tooth when she caught Carrie. I’m like sis is it really a surprise that your hubby left that money. You gave Natasha so much damn emotional trauma lol. Carrie’s character has a weird way of playing the victim in EVERYTHING it’s almost kind of narcissist. Im so glad Kim made the right decision to stay out.of the reboot. I loved the Samantha character. Carrie was always the drama filled friend who only thinks about herself, she isnt even much of a friend! To know that she hasnt evolved and grown as a person now shes much older.....explains why Samantha moved to London !

So not only they killed off Big for disgusting shock value but they have Carrie butt hurt and obsessing over why he left money to his ex-wife, the very wife he cheated on WITH CARRIE??.....Girl. Her lack of self-awareness and sense of entitlement after all these years still is unreal. They are ruining whatever nostalgia is left of the show. This revival is dumpster fire nobody asked for.

They should have ended the OG SATC with Carrie getting together _finally_ with Big, Miranda as a single mom, Charlotte settling down, and Samantha refusing to settle down. We didn't need the shoehorned, everyone gets a man and settles down to be happy ending, the terrible films, or this series.

Big finally married Carrie because he was 50+ with a heart condition and knew she loved him more than he loved her--he didn't want to be alone. We have heard of his early death for more than a year now--with out it there's no sequel.

I didn’t like that Natasha said to Carrie “I don’t know why he ever married me when he was always so in love with you.” It made her look pathetic and it wasn’t realistic.

It was Big’s money. He could leave it whomever he wanted.

I started watching SATC for the first time. I can't stand Carrie. She's probably the most obnoxious character I've ever seen in a show.

The first 3 episodes were way better than I expected. I loved how they handled the Natasha thing and actually acknowledged how wrong the whole cheating thing was unfair to Natasha.

Girl Carrie and Big had STRUGGLE love from the start. She chased him the entire time. I don’t truly believe he loved her. That’s just MY opinion.

This is the first time I ever heard someone leaving an ex spouse money in a will when the money could've gone to them through the divorce agreement.

Wasn't that his fault for marrying someone but of the value and calling Carrie back? She was jealous of Natasha for an entire season because she thought he married someone taller, younger, etc.

Her character remained stupid was one big problem: questioning why her husband left the ex-wife he cheated on with her and destroyed, some money. Any idiot can understand he felt guilty and Carrie was part of the cause of that guilt, yet we are put through her being ‘perplexed’ by his decision to do that. It showed emotional immaturity. as if women are so tied up in their feelings, they can’t understand obvious things.

I really miss Samantha’s character on this show. She bought humor where now there is none.

Carrie is so toxic. She wanted Big for so long but he wasn't that into her and he was married. She was the other woman and couldn't face the wife. But when she got her Big back it wasn't all smooth sailing or even romantic. Now that he is dead she is wondering he tried to make amends with his ex. She's so self centered. Now I get why Big was always giving her the cold shoulder. Men are not a trophy to win.

Carrie pissed me off stalking Natasha the way she did. The million of dollars I thought was a nice gesture from Mr. Big because he was vocal he didn’t communicate his feelings well.

I'm ticked they killed off Big in the 1st place. I mean, couldn't they have ONE bit of happiness for Carrie? She went through SO much before they finally got married. She could've had plenty of things to go through, but leave Mr. Big alone!

At being over 50+ years old and having been thru so much with Big, shouldn't Carrie be at that point in her life where she shrugs her shoulders and says eff-it. I liked the life we had together - and just moved on with her life grieving for Big and refuse to think that the million was anything more than an apology.

Carrie didn't care about the money. It was nice seeing Carrie and Natasha find peace and forgiveness from each other, like grown ups.

This show has always been about Carrie and the absence of insight in her life, her choices, etc. All but 1 were such cold women, with a few great lines. I was always confused why Charlotte remained friends with these women.

I understand everyone has their feelings, but this shows how selfish Carrie is. So selfish. Because Natasha was 25/26, I’m that age and Carrie was older. She knew better. Notice how he left only this ex wife and not the other ex wife he has cheated on also. Why? Because I think he wasn’t guilty for the cheating, not really, he felt guilty because at 25/26 you have a life planned for yourself. You envision maybe how your marriage, and hopefully only marriage will turn out to be. Natasha was in Paris enjoying her Parisian life. Here comes this (judging from how they wanted to portray him) tall, dark, rich, older, handsome man. He courts you. Listens to your hopes, dreams, and maybe convinces you to move back to New York because you just fell in love with him. Then you’re married to what you think is a perfect guy but he cheats on you. HERRRRR TOOTH LITERALLY GOT CHIPPED. Big knew EXACTLY what he was doing and we all know what it’s like to find out someone is cheating because there’s always a subtle change. She literally messed up her mouth and her marriage ended. To make matters worse because Carrie is selfish, she HAD to go stalk Natasha and tell her sorry. Which was so shitty. This proves Carrie did the apology for herself than Natasha. Because first of all, NATASHA FOUND YOU IN HER HOUSE. Second, I would understand the damage I had done to another woman’s husband that I knew was married. Especially since Natasha’s face got messed up. When you have a home with someone you nurture that place and him having another woman? Big knew exactly what he was doing and he knew better. But he didn’t do it, so he was just like here ya go 1 mill for your troubles. Honestly Carrie seems to have no emotional intelligence whatsoever.
