Most lectures never mention what the function of the Y chromosome are. But you did, letting us know that it produced all the attributes of maleness. Can give us more detailed lecture on X inactivation. Thank you for well produced lecture. Very helpful

Is that all the abnormalities? I mean, what happens if there is a person with XXX? And what happens if a person has XXXX or XXXY or XXYY? And what happens if a person has 0 in the egg and 2 in the sperm or vice versa? I know at the end, in the las example has 2, but if it YY, what happens? And what happens if the egg has 0 and the sperm 1, or vice versa? I love your explanation, that’s why I’m asking. So thanks.

Although this video is good. Like most videos. For the average laymen it can be difficult to follow. You should provide links to introductory videos just in case. Maybe draw the process out as your lecture. Seeing a whiteboard full of writing can be overwhelming to some.

How would you respond to people who say these genetic conditions are 'a third sex'.

I believe the XY is an Abonormality, kindly advice, why do we as man have Nipples that we have no use for. Isn't the XX Chromosome the orignal. Is is not true that everyhing start with the XX, if so where did the XY came from. I am just asking

Why can't I find any info on my 46 xx sry positive abnormality, years now trying to figure out what is different about me other than not being able to have children and my insanely low testosterone.

calling people normal and abnormal is morally repugnant. so they don't like it.

You are confusing sex and gender, but still wrong about it being binary.

What if sperm number 4 fertilised egg number 2? Would there be any abnormalities?
@Beinghumane1
@Beinghumane1 Месяц назад
Yes As it will form XO karyotype, there will be reduction in female sexual characteristics.
