As far as the stem nut, the 88Nm is the OEM figure for the steel assembly. The SMR is a fine alloy thread and wouldn’t take 88Nm. The spec from SMR is 25-30Nm.👌🏻 We also need to remember that this nut doesn’t take a lot of strain as the top and bottom yoke clamped against the forks do the job of holding everything in place.
