@soccerguy325 razzies are for fun, the proof is that multiple times Oscars and Razzies are been awarded to the same film. It is hard to be objective towards the art, and movies are art.
@michael65 Look, I have a sense of humour, trust me, the Golden Raspberry Awards are not for "fun". If they were just for "fun", then everyone would be accepting them. There would be more than 100 viewers of it every year. I have no idea why you say that there should be Razzies if there are Oscars. The Oscars make people feel GOOD about themselves - not bad about themselves as the Raspberries do. It really isn't for fun, I wouldn't waste my time watching people vote on what is the WORST in film.
ik i'm like 9 years too late but I just found this as an award I had no idea this existed and honestly I think it's actually rlly good for awards like this to be in hollywood self promotion can only take u so far i agree it isnt for fun but rlly there is criticism out there that's not just to bring the actors down its there to better their weaknesses and I think that's very healthy

Anyway, to respond to your comment, I don't think the Razzies are about helping actors and filmmakers to improve their weaknesses lol. That's the job of a coach. The razzies literally just exist to be pricks. But whatevs it's cool. These people making millions of dollars a year will be just fine.
@urmo345 It is just insulting. You think people LIKE being nominated/winning a Golden Raspberry Award? You think they see it just as one big joke? No, because then, as I said, everyone would accept it. And the Oscars and Razzies have never been awarded to the same film. Not in the same category, at least. I mean, for God's sake, the Razzies gave Razzies to STAR WARS! How ridiculous is that?
