My honest review of these pickups. I recorded this with my IPHONE. For full disclosure I was not asked to make this video, nor was I compensated. I did this motivated completely by the joy of playing guitar.
Really good job. I have watched a ton of videos like this, and recently specifically about these pickups. Yours is by far the most straight forward, clearest demonstration, helpful content I have seen! Thanks!
Sir, everything you played sounded damn beautiful. That neck and bridge pickup in series was my particular favorite setting. A beautiful guitar as well!
Hey I have Lindy Vintage +2% in my neck and the same bridge, Lindy Blues Special. I’ve really been eyeing the La Brea’s though. Did you keep the La Brea’s in and if so why? I’m looking for more of that Tele twang.
Thank you sir nice review some of us appreciate what ur doing in sharing your livley hood with us all hats of to ya thanks again keep it up btw way try the brand chicken picks you'll love em
I bought the regular Hipshot, it fits over the end strap button. The only modification that I did was to move the mechanism over to line up with the G string instead of the B string, since I already had the B Bender on my guitar.
Thank you for watching the video and your interest. Actually the unit was made like that from Hipshot. It is the Will Ray Helle-Bender by HIPSHOT model.
Sorry, but I don’t believe that I have ever I had the opportunity to play the Twisted Tele’s. To my ears though the La Brea’s sound as good or better than the pickups that I have tried.
I finally got around to measuring the pickup height, so here goes. With the strings pushed down at the last fret (22nd) the Neck pickup is 4/64 ( low E) 3/64 (high E) Bridge pickup is 3/64 (low E) 2/64 (high E). Hope this helps!
@@randysmith8770 I have a white MIM tele ; she's 8.6 lbs and I thought that was heavy. Just ordered a used b.paisley road worn under 6lbs. Love the guitars .... JESUS
Always cracks me up the novice players who think they are at the point where they are ready to make expensive mods to their guitars etc when they really just need practice.
What ever makes him happy usually ppl that knock others r insecure with themselves so they knock others to make themselves feel superior btw way u have any "pro videos" the rest of us can judge ? Spose not !
