I would call the Valerio jacket a dark khaki-green, a very versatile, near-neutral, color. I have a lot of this color in my wardrobe, perhaps in mostly less dark versions, and find it very wearable. Both this color and its warmer-toned sister, olive green, are trending, but I think the more-gray, less-yellow, khaki green suits those with cool-undertones better, like you and me. I think you did right to go up to a Small in the jacket at the beginning, nothing is less flattering than fabric straining at the buttons in a size too small, it could make even your perfect figure look chubby! The Medium cream-trimmed beige jacket is too large, but not terribly so. I always think Sezane will restock items as popular as this one, but too often they don’t, so at least you’ll have this one. If you end up keeping it, you could have the sides taken in just a little, but the shoulder area is the most important point of fit in any top, sweater or jacket, of course. If the shoulders seem a bit too wide, you could do what I often do - add some classic, 1/4- to 1/2-inch, maximum, classic “straight-edge” (not the rounded) shoulder pads. I need to do this on many of my knit jackets to take up the extra fabric, my shoulders are on the narrow side. It also gives a sharpness to the fit that I really like. You can get good-quality, washable and dry-cleanable, Dritz brand ones through Amazon or sewing supply websites and they are easy, if tedious, to add, even with the most elementary sewing skills. I listen to a book in bed, reclining while I sew them in.
These are beautiful Sézane pieces ! The three jackets/cardigans are stunning and each one is a versatile addition. The blue blouse looks incredible on you 🤩it really compliments your colouring and I understand why you were attracted to it.
Lovely Sezane haul, Agnes! You have such a great taste and a wonderful style. I have Valerio jacket too and the color is so good, it looks fantastic with your Toteme bag! ❤
Hi Mila! Thank you so much! Yes, it's such a great jacket. Love your channel. It's a joy to watch your Sezane videos. They're always packed with incredible detail regarding each item you show. Thank you so much for stopping by my channel.🤍
I wasn’t sure this was you from the name, I thought your channel name was “Hello Agnes”. I’m glad it is still you, our favorite, chic and classy Agnes! I always like seeing what Sezane has on offer, even though I haven’t been seeing as much I like as I used to there in previous years. I just got their dark taupe Polo collar rib-knit, long-sleeved dress. It’s cute, but the fabric quality is not what it used to be, it has a lot of synthetic fiber in it. I hope I can tolerate it without overheating or skin reactions. I still love my Betty cardigans (100% Merino wool, lovely) and Paula Babies (mid-heel leather slingbacks) and am always hoping for new colors in these “old favorites”. I have a lot of both styles, but still want more, especially the Paula’s in navy blue, I’ve been waiting forever for these to restock.❤
Hi Kimberly, yes, it's still me. I just changed it to Agnes, but the handle name is still Hello Agnes:) I don't have the Paula Babies in my collection. Do you find them to be comfortable? I always feel tempted to get a pair.
Hi dear, great video. I don't know Sezane but I am going to buy a Fiona jacket and the Taylor belt, which I reckon you are wearing in this video. If yes, I ask you if the loops are fixed or move, forgive my English .. thanks a lot if you can give me your opinion about it. Thanks again Gemma :)
Hi Gemma, the loops are fixed and they do not move. Sezane offers three different sizes so that the belt fits you correctly. Overall it’s a really great quality belt and I have a feeling you’re going to be happy with your purchase. Thank you so much for watching. 🤍
Hello Agnes, I have the sage Servanne shirt - sized up to 38 and think it could be even larger - so I would be interested if the denim Servanne shirt runs true to size or if you have sized up. Also the blue denim appears to be thinner. The green Servanne shirt is of a thicker but soft denim fabric. I have ordered the black Valerio jacket (in S) as I wanted to be sure that the colour would be easy to style. With the greenbrownish colour I had my doubts. I love it, too. I enjoy your videos and your calm way of speaking! Gisela
Hi Gisela, I’ve been enjoying my Valerio jacket way too much. I reach for it all the time. It’s such a great piece. I could also see investing in a black version since it’s so versatile. I got the Servanne shirt in my regular size. It runs true to size, and the denim is just right, not too thick but not too thin. It’s not stiff and has a nice flow to it. Thank you so much for watching, and I’m so glad you are enjoying the videos! Xo 🤍
Hi Agnes! Where you able to get a smaller size in Auguste jacket? Which size would you recommend? I'm torn and not sure if I should go with my usual size or size up for it to have more room and be longer.
Hi Tatiana! Unfortunately, I have not been able to size down. I checked the LA store again and online but was unsuccessful. Hopefully, they will restock on Sunday:) I recommend going with your regular size. The cardigan runs slightly big. I hope you can get one in your size! Thank you for watching.
I especially love the Axelle boots but I'm travelling and shoes are the worst thing to pack >< Where is your leather jacket from, please? The colour is beautiful.
The jacket is vintage. I got it preloved a few years ago. I'm sorry I can't point you to a specific place. Thank you for watching, and I wish you safe and fun travels!
The pieces look all so beautiful and classic! I own the Servanne shirt in green (got it from the latest archives) and I am not sure if the denim one runs the same, but I would actually advise to size up in the Servanne shirt to anyone who is interested in getting it as well.
Thank you! The jacket is vintage, and it's from a second-hand store. I'm sorry I can't provide you with a specific place to look for it. Thank you for watching.🤎
