Just remember Melvin said on the radio today “the cavalry is on the way” regarding Cobb, Ray and Ahmed. So all these kids just won’t have playing time. The Rivercats are fun. The Giants are Ramos and the convalescent home
Giants looking anemic at the plate once again tonight. Looking like another lost year. I do like Melvin but the minors and the lack of developing young players is far too inept. I enjoy your coverage.
I don’t necessarily disagree with you, but offense across MLB is anemic. Giants are perfectly average at 15th in OPS and probably a little higher in OPS+ (couldn’t find those rankings)
@@MichaelRyan-kj3zd You're right about that. I just checked some stats and the Giants are 23rd in batting avg with runner's in scoring position, and 27th when it comes to OBP in the same situation. That is largely where they fail....repeatedly!
Reggie Crawford was throwing 93 on the sinker last outing and his velo was down the previous outing as well, not good - hopefully something minor given they let him continue, illness perhaps?
Intriguing prospect but until I get to watch him play I don’t have to strong of feelings either way. Hopefully they get him up to SJ sooner than later so I can watch him play there.
