pretty quick witted guy, he could be a stand up comic, he reminds of Zach Galifianakis, the breaded actor from The Hangover movie, Zach is just as good in movies as he is as a stand up comic
5:54 And the guy who won the million dollars wasn’t even a gamer or a baseball fan. He was a teacher who heard about the contest, did research, and just happened to execute a perfect game.
I agree with the folks who would have wished this guy on the Sox, except for one thing: Our Town Haaaaaates individualists and this guy would be funny for ten minutes before they compared him to Manny Ramirez. And I love Manny Ramirez's Charley Lau swing and hate his attitude. He may nave been a workhorse off the tee but he was a flake in public and Boston is too uptight for that. I think this guy works better in LA where a performance to go with your fundamentals is accepted. But kudos for the comments who thought that - I don't disagree with you on principle.
I have it on good authority that Manny used to simply forget he had 10,000 dollar checks just sitting uncashed in his locker. And be like whoops. That's probably half hearsay and half mythology which makes it mostly bullshit, but I heard from a good source he played games like that. That kind of clowning is good in spurts when you're neck and neck for first place. Not when you're getting boned in the AL EAST
you can call it arrogant but that is what he really acts like...i mean who dresses up in a spandex tuxedo and has a gimp walk behind him in a interview, hes just strange...in a good way
Patently, the most unfunny, unlikable baseball player there ever was until Fernando Tatís Jr., came along. This video is a 10-min manual on how not to be funny 🤢.
