Indeed he deals with fireballs quite well in this game, his nemesis Guile is likely to give him a hard time. Back in SF 4 it was M. Bison’s worst matchup.

Granted the pros using him are likely veteran bison players so they should know a decent amount on how to play him already. Im gathering that now he's partial charge character and with him now having answers to some of his flaws like him now having proper answers to projectile spam and having some overheads now as well as some form of a anti-air option, things are going to be more spicy for bison mains

To be fair, high level players like Go1 and SonicFox pick up new characters in a few hours. In their streams they lab for a hour or two and quickly understand the game plan.

Scissors: Looking mighty opressive and amazing for zoning and pressure. EX Psycho Crusher: Looks like It can be used to react to fireballs, great stuff. Also safe with "Mine setup" and hard to punish at the right distance. Reversal: looking promising as way to scape corner. Damage looking good, above averange for sure. Bison looking mighty solid here.

You start at Diamond rank for new chars if you already have other chars in Master. It doesn't take that long, just look at how long it took Sajam to get Akuma into Masters

Because he perfect parried just as akuma was about to land on the ground. A jab or throw mighr have worked to punish but medium punch is too slow
