1:33:00 Lily may be trash, but there's no denying how fun it can be to watch top tier players use trash characters. (Itazan/Snake Eyez being other good examples, and perhaps also iDom's Manon.) This set was _hype._
Not saying she's great or OP by any means, but to say Manon is bottom third is kind of contentious imo. She had more representation at the top of CEO than JP, Jamie, Marisa, Dhalsim, Gief, Lily, Honda, Chun, etc. Now, I'm not going to pretend that an early tournament is the end-all-be-all though.
@@fulgensy I won't budge on this. The handful of players who can make any character shine will do their best as always (e.g. ProblemX playing Lily or iDom playing Manon) but most tier lists out there place all three grapplers firmly at the bottom, with Manon being given the token slot as the best of the three. Tournament results have been bearing this out. Lily honestly has a better shot at good results in a tournament just because her blatant low tier status means people rarely match up against her.
@@thealgerian3285 Marisa is the lowest IQ effort character in the game. She gets 2 touches and youre dead. Her mp beats everything. DJ is broken with that DR. I have never played any of those characters you mentioned though. Good guess but I only play low tier characters that look cool. I don't see someone win a tournament and then switch to that character or watch a tier list to find my character. In Vanilla SF4 I played Gen. In this game I play Kimberly, Zangief, and some Lily. All bottom 5
Funny thing about that. The Swastika symbol is actually asian in origin and means long life and good health. The Nazis reversed the direction and completely corrupted a very virtuous symbol. That black dude knows this and is one of the bravest ppl i’ve ever seen.
