Luffy need to more confident on his Manon. We all get it that Manon has many flaws but she still better than some character like Zangief, Jamie and Lily. And recently Snake eyes took ZAngief on the next level. I have a faith Luffy can manage to do that too if he just stick to Manon 100%.
I think he is wise to choose a better character. Low damage, worst drive rush in the game by a mile, no reversal without a super, no real block strings, drive rush dependent for a decent combo, sacrifices (low) damage for oki or the other way around... she has good normals so shes good at honest footsies. That's simply not enough, though. We all want to see the Manon arc at a high level but there is a reason shes being dropped left and right.
I'm guessing the Kim you're talking about is Oniki, the Ryu Endingwalker or Semy28, the Sim Mistah Crimson and the Gief Snake Eyez? Of those only Snake Eyez is qualified for Capcom Cup. All those other people have won the first tournament in the World Warrior series in their respective regions. Those regions being Japan- Oniki, Germany- Semy28, UK-Endingwalker, France- Mistah Crimson. They still have to win the World Warrior Finals which they have to qualify for by acruing points over 4 tournaments and being in the top 8. They only qualify for Capcom Cup after they win this fifth/final World Warrior top 8 tournament.
@FrowningTaco Thanks, didn’t know that. Still, 1st place in one of 4 qualifiers is a pretty good start. The Japan and UK wins are especially impressive. Those were some pretty stacked tournaments.
@@mappybc6097 Yea man no prob. I agree UK and Japan tournament wins were impressive. Lets hope all those playing "weak" characters in strong regions win more of the World Warrior qualifiers and win the finals to qualify. By the the way the tournament series that Snake Eyez won was CPT online. This online tournament series is 1 per region and if you win you instantly qualify for Capcom Cup. There are also 3 offline major Capcom Cup qualifiers Evo(which Angrybird already won), one in Singapore and another in France. Lastly there is a LCQ(Last Chance Qualifier) which a huge tournament for everyone who didn't qualify to have a final chance the week of Capcom Cup. The winner gets the last spot.
It's wordplay. The prefix "-mal" in French is a negation, for example "aisant" means comforting and "malaisant" means discomforting. So maldominant would be a negation of dominant if you translated it literally but the word doesn't exist in French. It's wordplay on "mâle dominant", which means dominant male/alpha male.
