So they can just jump or roll to escape the situation. But that can be punished on reaction. So should you just grab anyway and risk the chance your opponent does something first to punish you or should you play it safe and reset neutral by dropping shield and just running away? Both characters also have great OOS options and ZSS btw has one of the slowest grabs in the game. So yeah. Situations like these are just reading your opponents mix-up and reacting to it. You can't just always grab just because its optimal. Your opponent would play around it.
