[SFM] Elimination Test

The BLU Team offers a position to be a BLU spy for qualified contestants, the contestants have to undergo an elimination test and the one who succeeds the test will be hired. However, this yearly test seems to have a bit of problems. Let's find out...
The event of Elimination Test takes place 8 months after Twist Of Fate. Bob has recently discharged from hospital and joined The Organization under supervision by Professor Klonz. His new job as a guard has begun (while his restaurant is undergoing restoration work).
While Mr Red Spy is out of work since his office was destroyed, the whereabout of Chef Heavy is unknown until now...
After for about two years since I first making sfm animations, I return back to Source Filmmaker Software with fresh ideas and motivation to make an animation intended to be 4 minutes long. The original idea for this video was completely different than this finished video, but I had to change its storyline because the earlier story draft was not up to my satisfaction...
Some Info:
- This took me about 3 months and more to make this video, ranging from animating in sfm, post editing and audio mixing. (Slow progress as I am inexperienced in animating)
- The whole video is split into 9 different scenes, rendered into 20,550 images

What's better: a moderately skilled agent you know will do his best to do the mission you assign to him, but can't handle top level stuff.... Or some loose cannon that'll mess your entire base up because he has the attention span of a goldfish?

Yeah, it was surreal and a big tonal shift. I watched this back in 2016-17 and thought it was a comedic SFM(which it it is). Then I watched the prequel and boy, was it dark. The main characters in the prequel are just side characters here, like Bob. Here, he was just a joke-y character that was just super buff and strong, then the prequel presents us a tragic origin story.

That was sweet, nice work with this! I love the anime-esque slow-mos and techniques you use. Your creativity and use of TF2 weapons and concepts was nice as well, I liked seeing the hookshot and the tug-o-war scene. Really cool to see Vaccinator being effective in an SFM as well.

Gotta love the details in here, like Klonz having a text-to-speech voice and there being a buff Pyro who rides a motorcycle, that are amusing out of context but have actual reasons behind them explained in the prequel. That's good writing.

It's like a mix between an iPhone and one of those 80s brick phones. I used one of them in one of my videos too, I just scaled it down for it to fit snugly in the Spy's hand.

This reminds me of my experince in art class. I am very experienced with art but I never follow the instructions properly and that's why I don't get the best grades despite my art looking great. It's a common thing in SFM's for classes to use other classes weapons. Besides, it's not like a soldier using a shotgun and an engineer using a hammer to build something are ridiculous ideas.
