Really well made, really good idea, funny story, good editing and good use of the voice lines . This deserves so many more views! It's trully incredible, maybe a sequel?
Brilliant Behemoth that's actually why he put Shepherd into stasis, he like Shepherds ability of "surviving against all odds" and put him into stasis as a backup in case Gordon did die
Gordon Freeman is invincible (just like the player character in every story-driven game with deaths and respawning from save-state) because the player gets to respawn and try again with foreknowledge until they get the pattern right. In these games, you will notice that everything is reset to before you died. So, it is like you haven't died or lost the objective yet. Today I finished Episode 2 and it took me 8 tries to kill all the striders in the final battle. So, in 7 universes, Gordon failed and I the player left that universe to reload. In the final universe, I beat the striders against evidently 1 to 8 odds, and even Dr. Magnusson was impressed with this. All player characters have an innate supernatural ability that allows them to prevail against ridiculous challenges because the player possessing them can try repeatedly with retained foreknowledge and stored save states until success.
Every time Gordan dies then respawns, you are in a different timeline, where you left the previous one where the resistance is taken down after Gordon’s death
I love the Resistance Lines when Gordon’s dies “Dibs on the suit” “Take his crowbar” “If you say ‘that’s gotta hurt’ I’ll kill you” “Don’t worry he’s done this before he’ll be okay”
this is freaking hilarious i cant stop laughing XD it's so good also because they have so many different lines to say after you actually die in game lmaoooo
"We invested millions into a suit to protect everything except the thing that made the suit in the first place" - Gordon Freeman, H.e.v suit - Door monster
