Hey, this project really strained my mental-health - I've completed it in 3 months of work, as opposed to the last one which took twice as much time. I really hope that You will appreciate what I'm trying to show here. These videos only get more beautiful each time! I especially love your nighttime lighting and those atmospheric foggy particles! And don't you think I didn't notice that Coca cola product placement
Once again, you've shown us the inspirational and artistic side to this crummy old Source Engine Filmmaker tool we got! Can't really say much as what I've said in the previous episodes are applied here - loving the sound design, atmosphere, voice-acting and your improvements with the subtle details like the hairs, debris, liquids, lights, lights on the ears (good detail), and the obvious fantastic particle work, but this shouldn't be a surprise at this point, mate. I applaud your efforts and insane dedication to getting this newest episode out, but never forget that YOU are the most important thing about this whole business, not us. What I mean by this is that you need to take your time to make things, so you don't end up hurting your mental health - because that is what a certain amount of people who watch this kind of content don't seem to understand through the animator's perspective. Don't forget that overworking yourself will harm your work; take breaks for as long as its deemed as necessary - because trust me, I know the struggle of keeping yourself motivated and dedicated to move forward, and deliver on with your passion projects in record time. But sometimes, we just need to gather our heads for a bit. To cool off, to step back. I hope you know what I'm talking about, mate. Even with all that being said, it was a pleasure to see this awesome artistic work, mate. Stay safe, don't overwork yourself, and of course: have fun with making your passion a reality.
i find the fact that they just had a 24/7 gun grocery store with *shopping carts* to be very amusing. of course solider knows about this shop, he's a true american
The best part of this is when they ask: "where are we going to buy the weapons?" And then proceeds to show an American flag and a 24/7 gun shop True genius
We don't care if you take a little longer to make videos that are such high quality as this one Hoovy Tube, all that matters is that you like what you created and don't hurt your mental health over it, you are extremely talented at SFM and should be very proud of your work, as we are of you.
You are just a one of a kind incredible man. Seriously, it motivates me to do not sfm animations, but Gmods ones with my own lore and with some friends. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to give me the motivation to do what i could do.
I appreciate the effort that you put into making this series but please don't strain yourself and remember to take breaks. This episode was by far the most comical with quick visual gags and comments. Though personally I thought the pacing was too fast as there was lot going on with all the different character plots. I would have preferred having Medic and Spy think over more why they should go back to Red as it felt like they turned around too quickly. However, that is understandable considering this is much shorter than the last animation. Overall a still highly enjoyable episode, thank you so much Hoovy and Happy Birthday!
Absolutely amazing you've gotten everything right, from the animation, to the writing, and pretty much everything else my only complain is that it can get a little bit confusing sometimes with some plot points that aren't fully explained, but it doesn't have a big impact I hope you won't strain your mental-health as much for your next project, as it might impact their quality and just make it worse for everyone (creator and viewers)
This entire thing feels like Hoovy was on a drugtrip while making this and I love it. Theres a lot of great humour in this, but then there is this super dark beginning. I think at this point ive stopped seeing this as a TF2 animation, but just a new universe, since the characters dont always behave like the mercs we know, especially in this part. Also at this point no one can tell me, that Spy and Medic arent in love. Oh and forget to mention, this is better than any movie I have ever watched. Storytelling, characters, action, romances (if you know what I mean), and cinematography. And maybe, just maybe, Hoovy will read this comment. You never know.
I have read it! I prefer to work sober, however, not everyone is perfect! I appreciate the lengthy comment, I can see that this video meant something to You.
11:50 IM REDOWNLOADING SFM JUST TO LEARN HOW TO ROLL LOLLL In all honesty, this was such a fantastic animation and a wonderful showcase of your progress throughout the years. The polishing on every scene is incredible!! Take a well needed break and keep working hard
I did my waiting... 12 years of it... in Azkaban! I'm insanely glad that the video came out after all, and so quickly, it's the best gift in the break between exams! I like the plot, animation and characters so much, it's just a work of art (medic and spy are my love especially). I will look forward to the continuation with impatience! But most importantly be fine, mental health is a fragile thing. The world needs you! Thank you for your hard work.
Thank you for taking that much time and effort to make those animations even if that means pushing yourself to the limit. Now you can take all the time you need to recover mental health and take care of yourself.
please spend more time on these things so you don't stress yourself out- high quality work like this takes time, and rushing it not only hurts your mental health but could have effects on the quality that make you stress out more. don't push yourself too hard! that aside, this is an amazing piece of work as always.
Love the writing! You are always like a breath of fresh air on the TF2 animation community! Your ideas are very interesting and those little philosophical/political thoughts. Good job and good luck.
The one animation i watch infront of my family and it opens with 2 booby shots BUT hoovytube you are such a big inspiration making full on movies it’s incredible to see and the stories you tell are genuinely interesting im so invested now lol
Wow. Starting from the scene at 11:30, dunno what but it feels like the animation quality skyrocketed after that. FemScouts eyes and the soldiers. And the permit joke made me LOL
just fabulous🤚 in my opinion there’s far more to interpret than we can possibly think about in just single production!! with this it’s impressive how Hoovy Tube managed to made all of this
Great job on this video, lad. We're all gonna await for the next entry in this series. (Just remember to not push yourself too much ok? Pretty sure you know how serious burnout is, so take breaks if you need to)
hoovy tube is SO COOL, and his animations are even cooler. i love Magnificent 9, and I REALLY cant wait to see the rest. it might be the closest we get to a TF2 show, and i love it
