The better part of a week was spent setting up the scene, animating what few elements are present, and especially rendering it out at a half-decent quality.

I've done several more animations, if you wish to search through my older videos. Animation, in general, is a lot more involved than simply rendering a frame out, so I'm not sure how frequently or how much more I'll make animations, but I did have a good time making this.

My one recommendation for the future - even if your export from SFM was 1080p, render your video out at 2160p in whatever editor you use, because RU-vid compression is a cruel mistress. 2160p will give you that sweet sweet bitrate.

I considered that at first, but this stuff took long enough to render as-is. Future animations I'll still aim for 4K

@@ATomatoIsAFruit No no, the export from SFM would be 1080p still. But the video you assemble in Premier or Resolve or whatever would be 2160p.
