[SFM] The Unifier Conclusion 

I'm so glad to finally see Tails being the focus of the story. I really like Tails a lot and I wish Sega will make justice to Tails. He deserves to be amazing.

It feels unlikely seeing Tails and Shadow interact so much, and most of the time of them interacting is Shadow hating on him in some way. Well done on this series. It was a fitting conclusion. Can't wait o see what else you have in store, Mike ❤

This was certainly the best way to put the series to an end, I'd say! The music definitely does help a bunch to further convey the animation and story. It was definitely a wonderful experience to see the whole thing ^-^

I adore this. Just watched it today & love it. The fact it came out on my birthday along with animation, which I love just means so much to me. I just followed through with rewatching the whole series again and other videos connected to this, and I have to say this. You did an absolutely amazing job! You've done Tails justice in all these videos, and SEGA oughta take notes from your approach! I'm legitimately impressed, and I look forward to seeing more content in the future! Say what you want; The Unifier is one of the greatest fan works period. I feel most wont know the lore behind the cape, and that's alright. If it were me I probably would have omitted it and kept the eye color so he wouldn't look out of place to fans who didn't know about it. In any case, Sega should make this into a game. And they should have ATLUS do the writing. Not only that - they should use Mike as the main consultant when creating the script. Seriously, this is better than any story we've gotten from the Sonic franchise. And with ATLUS they could make it even better - seriously, why haven't they tried that yet? Sega bought atlus but all they do is get them to dish out more Persona games. Why not use that same talent to fix the quality of the stories in Sonic games? But yeah, as I said 3 years ago on the 2nd episode - this should be a game. Even if it's centered on Tails - I'm sure they can do multiple characters too. Use your inventions to solve problems, whether it's getting passed an obstacle in one of Eggmans bases, or getting rid of a mind control device, or disarming Metal Sonic. There's so much to work with. And the best part is: all of this was available in the source material. This could have been a thing a long time ago.

DUDE WHEN HIS WORLD HIT I STARTED SCREAMING This was such a great conclusion! I found it a little hard to follow at times, but the emotional beats hit soo well. The ending fight is epic and takes me back to the prior Tails and Silver fight. I couldn’t have asked for more from this series :)

Really didn t saw all the series but the ending sequence looks like standalone project. I know there is a story before it, but it looks well alone. Good work. Emotional

Omg! I can't believe The Unifier has finally ended! It would have been nice to have dialogue in this BUT I'm not being rude, it was still a wonderful video and it almost made me cry. Mike, you did a WONDERFUL job with this project. I'm sorry I can't donate money, all I can donate is lots of love and support to you with your other projects for the future. Everyone should fear Tails to infinity and beyond forever and always. I certainly do and i fear him more than anything.

Our finale begins with Knuckles returning to Sonic’s place with an unconscious Tails. Rouge and Amy are the first to meet up with them and Amy puts Tails under immediate care. Sonic, on the other hand, isn’t too happy, believing that Knuckles should have been able to control himself. Sonic gets so worked up that his corrupted self starts to show once more and he is about to attack Knuckles. He’s halted by Shadow and Rouge who both return from seeing and sending off Silver. Before things can escalate further, Amy comes downstairs with Tails, who hasn’t fully recovered but insists on being there to explain to everyone what’s going on. He calls on everyone to go outside where he can explain. However, Shadow remains behind with Tails as he gestures to him his inhibitor rings, loosening them just slightly to show Tails that he knows the truth. Tails had told Shadow he could no longer remove his rings even if he wanted to, but this was not the case, as Tails simply decided that if Shadow believed he couldn’t, he wouldn’t try and it would give him enough time to figure out what really has been going on. Tails lowers his head in shame but promises to explain everything. Meanwhile, Silver finds Blaze and sees her tackling an entirely different threat. After giving her a hand, he asks her if anything strange has occurred with the sol emeralds or her temperament. Blaze seems to be fine though, and Silver explains what’s been happening. Though serious, Blaze cannot leave as she is attempting to handle something else. With the assurance from Blaze that she’s fine, Silver then makes his way to return to the rest of the gang. {This would have been the basis of sorts for a spin-off series I thought about doing with Blaze; to have something else occur while The Unifier was taking place. This is a scrapped idea as of the time of writing this, however, so it’s not likely to manifest into anything.} Meanwhile, Tails has gone on to explain the situation with everyone, right down to Sonic’s condition and what a threat he posed. He also clears up what everyone suspected about Shadow due to his deeds from the beginning of the series. Tails also reveals that an entity spoke to him, giving him a set of coordinates to go to. The group is hesitant on letting Tails go there alone, as he seems to indicate that he is the only one suited to handle this threat due to his apparent immunity, though the others aren’t quite convinced. Shadow speaks up on how Eggman has locked them in a corner by removing the chaos emeralds as an obstacle. None of them can now use them without the risk of losing control. Before they can come up with a plan of attack, however, they come under fire from a Metal Sonic. Silver arrives on the scene and dismantles it as quickly as he was able to do with the one he fought earlier. Tails inspects the machine to find that it’s made of cheaper materials, not at all as durable or powerful as the original Metal Sonic. After giving his report on Blaze, Silver informs everyone that before he was taken over, he encountered multiple Metal Sonics after pursuing one. As Silver speaks, a small armada of these cheaper models begins to descend on them and the city. Apparently, Eggman has sent a small shock force to cause as much destruction as possible before he opens his big plan. Shadow stays behind and sends everyone off, removing his inhibitor rings show he could tackle the majority of the enemy forces in a single chaos blast. Sonic and Silver decide to go after him to hopefully save him or restrain him if he loses it. Knuckles takes Amy and Rouge to return to Eggman’s facility that was holding the Master Emerald with the fear that he is trying to retrieve it, leaving Tails behind to pursue his one lead. Tails flies through Eggman’s forces to reach his floating fortress, the Egg Carrier. After sneaking his way through the ship, he encounters Eggman’s control room and comes across a strange device (Nicole in this story). Before Tails can interact with her, Eggman spots him, surprised that he would come alone a second time. Eggman now reveals his final plan as two new machines step forward, one in the likeness of Classic Sonic and the other of Classic Tails. He reveals these two machines to be able to draw on the power of the Master Emerald from anywhere, giving them the unlimited and dangerous energy he’s created but with the benefit of their destructive power being under his control. Overwhelmed, Tails retreats, but instinctively grabs Nicole as he runs to hide. After some tinkering, Tails is able to communicate freely with Nicole, who reveals that Dr. Eggman has been using her to collect data for him on how the chaos emeralds and Eggman’s corrupting energy has been affecting Sonic and friends. She reveals that there is an anomaly in Tails that she can’t quite explain, but it makes him immune to Eggman’s corrupting energy. What’s more, he is able to purge the corruption, to unify the chaos as it were. This concept is heavily inspired by the old Archie Comics which had Tails as some sort of chosen one who could manipulate the energy of the Chaos Emeralds to some degree. This idea is really the whole driving force behind me wanting to make this story and get to this point. Nicole also tells Tails that he can achieve his super form from the chaos energy that the two duplicates discharge. Before she can say anything further, however, Tails is spotted and the duplicates take aim, destroying Nicole. Tails then takes a leap of faith and stands in the line of fire for the next blast, and is able to become super, though he will resemble his Turbo Tails from the comics. {Like I said, I liked that idea and wanted to make something around that concept.} Tails then purges the corrupting energy from the duplicates, essentially freeing them. They begin to destroy Eggman’s facility and his whole research while Tails escapes with Eggman in tow. Looking back, Tails sees the two duplicates waving at him as they remain on the crashing vessel. Sonic and company, meanwhile, succeed in holding back the Metal Sonic armada and even manage to secure Shadow with his inhibitor rings. Though Tails has discovered how he can fix everything, he still needs to seek out each Chaos emerald and purge them of Eggman’s energy once and for all. Shadow, still feeling that he should keep away from everyone else, opts to accompany Tails as they set off to unify the chaos emeralds. This would have been how the series would have ended; the two of them setting off on a new journey, while Sonic and friends remain to keep an eye on Eggman and clean up the mess he’s left behind.

Took me way too long to catch up with this. To be honest it's hard to ignore the deus ex machina in this ending, but I understand for whatever reason you had to keep the conclusion minimal. With that said, the series as a whole was a great time to watch and I like how you made sure to wrap everything up rushed yet properly. Thanks for taking the time to do this, it was a lot of fun.
