I knew there was more to her than just another shoto type. Gimmick or not, this opens a new layer for her to change things up. Not sure how I feel about blowing an entire EX bar on a half second run just to stop and block someone's jab though.

Great guide, thanks! It's probably because I'm such a beginner but I'd start with the throw, from run cancel I mean. I don't really understand why you shouldn't, is it because people would push buttons to stop your run the first times? You need to condition them not to first? Don't get me wrong, I see how Vespers way is great but I'm not sure why I just shouldn't start with throw. From a shorter run, that is, not from a full screen run, people'd see that coming.

doesn't this lose to any character with an invincible dp? if akuma dps as soon as the run comes out, wouldn't he beat her?

Can you frame trap with normal cancel into fireball? that way if opponent is just mashing on the normal you cancel into run you don't have to cancel into tackle.

I don't think this mix up is worth to use consistently it's more to catch ur opponent off guard I would never do the shoulder tackle. Safest option the defender can do is just block and take the throw. Risk the tackle and depending on character and meter ur losing a lot of health. I would actually risk the tackle if it was -4 and the punish isn't too hard and worth going for

The most broken run-cancel in the game. Hope they nerf that on the next patch at least for normal run, leave the ex like that.

I think this is really gimmicky and useless, a very bad habit, it is like using Karin's tenko as a frametrap, defenitely an online tactic.

So he gaurds use throw. He does a light normal then shoulder charge. I guess you have to read your opponent.
