SGA Responds Back To Anthony Edwards
The OKC Thunder earned road win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday in a battle between the top two teams in the Western Conference standings.
After the game, Minnesota guard Anthony Edwards criticized the officiating. He focused on the calls received by Shai, who went 12 for 13 from the free-throw line and finished with a game-high 33 points.
"It’s hard to (win) with the calls that Shai gets," Edwards said. "It’s hard to shut him down. You can’t touch him at any time of the game, so it’s super hard to beat. That team is a good team, especially when they get calls like that.”
In an Instagram post on Sunday, SGA responded to Edwards with his caption.
"They talk about me for my post game, not my postgame,"
With Sunday's win, OKC (29-13) is now one game behind Minnesota (30-12) for the top spot in the Western Conference. The two teams will face off once again in Oklahoma City on Jan. 29.
