A while back, I had joined them for a group shoot at Sentosa as a photographer. The way that I was phased out and ignored by all of them, really made me doubt whatever they were created for. So much for Ohana.

And during that time, it wasn’t a pleasant experience working with her. She would try to shame me (since I’m such an easy target for that) when she didn’t get things her way. If you are concern about young girls being exploited, you should probably report this to AWARE or some other women's group. I think the root of the problem is about educating these girls and they have to understand the dangers or consequences of this. Even if Ohana is shut down, i am sure these XMM will continue to find other means.

Hey man, yup, it’s me. I didn’t know that you were actually bitter that I removed you from the group. I just thought since you don’t know anyone there and they don’t know you, you could just leave. Like, no issue. Sorry I didn’t realise it came across as rude to you. Anyway yea, so I founded Ohana a few years back and now it’s managed by several ladies in the group. But it’s a lot different from SGIB. The girls are modestly dressed in most of the content and our content is mostly light-hearted stuff (food, tech, entertainment, stories, BGR). In the very few sexy posts, the girls are 20+, gave consent for us to post their pic and post even sexier stuff on their own IG. I see you’re highlighting a lot of my past. I’m not gonna debate it even though some incidents were exaggerated by the media. Or it’ll take us all day. The point is, that was in 2018. So if you think there’s anything wrong with our current content, we’re open to opinions and criticism. But I can’t change the past, as much as I want to. And yes, we do tell girls (and sometimes guys) that we bring them to cafes/arcades/events in return for making a vlog there and make social media posts. That’s the deal. We don’t hide anything from them. We tell them that upfront. You have went for sponsored meals yourself in return for social media posts. So, I don’t see what’s wrong with it. About Kye, we admit, we could tone it down a lot more, but we wouldn’t hide the fact that she was framing us and throwing us under the bus. That’s on us. Lastly, if you somehow could see how we work in the team, how we plan our content, how we interact with our followers, you would see that we have good intentions to spread positivity. No, we’re not perfect. Yes, we will get involved in drama sometimes. And yes, we will sometimes make mistakes. But if you get to know the Ohana team, like you said in the story, they are kind and sweet. I hope my team will do better in the future.
I just browsed through ohanasingapore. that whole account is, in my opinion, a comedy account....... :') even the stories on their insta stories are mostly comedy shows. someone should make a comedy show based on ohana singapore :')
