I’m a disabled retired USN LT. I’ve great respect for our Senior Enlisted - as they are the “glue” that hold our military together. Thank SGM Williams, Sr. I never had the privilege of meeting you - but I know what kind of person you were! Thank you for your service and sacrifice!
Watching this brought me to tears even though I did not know SGM Joseph Williams, Sr. Being buried with full honors is a great way to be remembered. This was beautiful to watch, all thirty-five minutes. Thank you to Marcus for uploading this. It was a pleasure and great sorrow, at the same time. Thanks for sharing.
All Service Women and men that have fort for their country should be treated this way. Thank you for protecting our freedom Mr. Williams may you rest in piece. go with the angles and your fallen comrades.
Thank you for your services thank you for protecting our freedom and our rights and our country you've done your job. Rest in peace may God be with you and Godspeed be with you
As I watched this as soon as the first note of Taps played it stared to rain signifying that The Lord truly believes he has lost one of his angels on Earth.

My father is buried at Arlington. Highly decorated man...medals out the wazoo... two tours in Vietnam. The service and treatment at Arlington was DISGRACEFUL! Where do I start? Do I start with the flag being presented to the wrong woman and (obviously) not my mother, or the man in the visitor's center yelling at my mom and aunt "We're CLOSED! GET OUT!" Of course, there has never been an apology. I am as ashamed this would happen at America's most sacred Veterans cemetery as I am angry. I'd move Dad to his hometown cemetery but Arlington won't give him up.
To the disreputable to yell out a swear 🤬 F cut you are a disrespectful of this family members who lost a love one. I hope someone yells at mister is not a a DEROGATORY REMARKS also. 1 family member was are head manager lucinda gerver you yelled at her like that.
Just a thought: instead of giving the dead such a glorious burial, how about making sure they don't die in the first place? Get out of conflict zones, or at least send in with the very best training and equipment?
Even the best trained and equipped personnel can be killed in action. And one doesn't always have the option of staying out of a conflict zone. Ask the people of Ukraine. And, for the record, the (Ret) means he was retired, not on active duty. SGM Joseph H. Williams Sr. died at the age of 87. He was entitled to this funeral due to his distinguished service.
