Unfortunately I didn't participate in the survey but I still feel like answering the question why I started. I'm not even sure myself. I was 13 and took part in some project. We made candles and I needed a sharp knife for that, so I had one in my room. This weird evening of March 30th, 2019, I slightly cut myself. Probably out of curiosity but Idk. I didn't even mean to hurt myself, but seeing the blood turned out to be satisfying and I started to do it more and more often & deeper. Now my arm is a mess
