I need to upgrade my Nas box. It's still has an older FM2+ CPU in it. Just waiting for the gigabyte board to completely die. Btw assuming you read this I recently got 2 R610 servers for 100 each. Worth every penny. Need to hook my MDS600 up to it.
That is a great price for those R610's. I have really enjoyed tinkering with mine and the old girl has been rock solid. I have been using an old FX-6100 as a NAS for awhile now. I think I'm going to try to virtualize it on the R610 and build a JBOD.
