“Sub Eleven Seconds,” executive-produced by the late Virgil Abloh, profiles Richardson as she pursues her dream of qualifying for the Tokyo Olympics. Still haven’t subscribed to The New Yorker on RU-vid ►► bit.ly/newyorkeryoutubesub
AMEN! I didn’t attack her when she went through the suspension and the death of her mother. I had mercy on her, because I know I’m not perfect. And it was sad that so many were stoning her, and said nothing about the Russian who they allowed to participate. So, I rooted for her before her awesome win at the World Championship in Budapest, and I will continue!!!❤❤❤😌👌
I feel like we can all relate to what Sha’Carri said about feeling undefined. Rather than trying to put our own expectations on what she should, she has every right to be who she wants to be, the same way we all continue to individually learn and grow into who we are. I will continue to wish her nothing but success!
She has behaved dreadfully towards other elite athletes and shamed herself and her country on social media. How much time has she to grow? she is already an adult and has shown nothing but contempt for others in the sport...
This woman is like nothing I’ve ever seen before. Watching her literally have a straight face and even a bit of a smirk as she ran down those other Americans is just absolutely unheard of. You can see the faces of the others grimacing and straining as they are attempting to qualify, but watching how calm, cool and unfazed Sha’Carri looks is absolutely amazing. She was the fastest woman in the United States last year and won the Olympic Trials to represent the USA in the Olympics. She was the one. That was our girl. Looking forward to the start of the track season and the World Championships. #muchrespect
@@BERNARDO712 In athletics we choose speed and such over classy, lets be real. But the problem is Sharacri is a little piece of trash with her attitude and it makes us all sick, thing is she has not won anything outside of beating up and then trash talking the other US athletes. There are children already running close to her speed.
What a great story and great job telling it - kudos as usual to the New Yorker staff and contributors who did this. If love next a story of the nearly-qualified, the people who spent years training and either didn't qualify or came last in the big show. Sha'Carri is obviously a legend in her world of track already.
I woudln't give her the status of being a legend. She has only run fast times so far but not a single world title to her name. Let's see over the next four global championships to see where she stands
Thank you Sha’ Carri for giving us a glimpse of your greatness up close. You are amazing and I loved seeing you celebrate your victory with your grandmother. Keep doing you. I can’t wait to see you blur across the track again soon.
The fact that she’s the tied 6/7 fastest in history she ran the same time with 1000 other female athletes she haven’t got any worlds or Olympic medals but yet they have a documentary about her 😂 says a lot it says she’s a industry plant js
Sha'Carri is such an inspiring human being, her personality is one of the greatest things that ever happened in the world of track running. The way that she is not afraid to speak out and be herself no matter what she goes through is completely mind blowing. She is amazing. I have nothing but admiration. P. s. The movie is great!
Wow you are such a strong and beautiful women you story is so heart felt to me it had me almost in tears the love you have for you’re grandma love ya girl keep on roasting them up on the track looking forward to seeing the new record you set at the Olympics.
I PRAY SHACARRI FOR YOU I HOPE U FOCUS, STREAMLINE DOWN, TRAIN LIKE NEVA B4 AND BEAT THE BRAKESSSSS OFF THE FIELD IN 2022🤸🏽♀️🤸🏽♀️🤸🏽♀️🤸🏽♀️🤸🏽♀️🤸🏽♀️🤸🏽♀️
I am intruiged to see if this young lady has what it takes to deliver on the biggest stage against the best. Times are great but the real key is coping with pressure. Asafa Powell is probably best recent example of someone who couldn't overcome the occasion. For the sport it would be great if she has the fortitude to handle those big moments as she clearly has huge potential
Esta chica es una super humana, demuestra que el ser humano lo puede lograr todo siempre que se tenga disciplina y esfuerzo , entrenar , como una chica de baja estatura es la mas rápida del mundo .
❤Hey there you are awesome I'm proud of you and your dream never give up I'm praying for you and your lost your gold is. Important to you my love is waiting for you booe❤❤❤😊go girl ❤😊
I think the majority of fans of track and field wish her will. However, all competitors know you can't talk trash and not back it up. Das all. I'm a fan of hers.
if there`s one reason for me to watch the paris olympics it`s to see sha`carrie tsissshhhh across the 100 meter finishing line first with a gleam in her eyes as golden as the medal she`ll be having hanging around her neck.. she sure is the funky blitzzzz.
Corrí con ella cuando dijo Go, senti la adrenalina y entendi lo q ella sentia en esos cortos 10 segundos, q son tan rápidos q te permiten ver lento lo q pasa alrededor
