Let me first say congratulations to Shaccari. Now for a person whom we saw running and barely made it to the final has leaving a bad taste in many mouth as the rest of the world is watching very closely. Oh and the other question that I will ask is “ When and where do athletes get their Spikes tested?”. I’m asking this due to the fact that Nike as an American company has spent millions of dollars to do that experiment on making the illegal running shoes only to say it will not be put out on the market after it has been how much faster it propell you. The next thing is Usain’s pet race is actually the 200m as is Sidney McLaughlin 400m hurdle her pet race. The world have noticed that she broke the world record in the U.S. 2022 which is the third time and has decided not to run that race in 2023 such a shame. This is also leaving a bad taste in the mouth of the rest of the world. What are you people’s thoughts? Anyway I’m still here listening as the world championship is not yet over.

Wow. This World Championships has exceeded anything that I expected. This new Sha' Carri Richardson has definitely settled down and grew into a confident young woman who doesn't need to hype it up or engage in bragadocio. She did the work, got deep into herself and this was FABULOUS, AWESOME. I didn't think anyone would beat the Jamaican women because they are phenomenal. And Marie Ta Lou was winning every race she competed in this year. But my, oh my! Baby girl, Sha' Carri just blew the crowd away and millions watching as well. Her reaction was the same as my own, "WHAT JUST HAPPENED????? I am still watching this event over and over and over. This young woman can win an Olympic gold. She beat the best of the best, cream of the crop. Now this is how you do it. If she stays in this zone, Olympic Gold will hang around her neck. I did cry. Yep, I did because I'm extra. And I will never forget the way Shericka Jackson looked over at Sha' Carri when she crossed the line. Priceless.

The 9th lane got her the win . Jackson couldn't see her as being behind her and that wide she was out of Jacksons perifural vision. Jackson focused on heading off shelly ann amd did that and she thought she had won when she crossed the line as she didnt see sha carri pass her right at the end . Jackson didnt know she lost until she saw the replay. Hopefully at the Olympics next year all 3 Jamaicans and sha carri will be in lane 3-6 and have a real show down as to who is top dog

@minichikimakubex she ran 10.6 i believe in the Jamaican champs i thought . Im not a runner but used to be on the pro tennis circuit and the top player s always seem to do just enough to win . If shelly ann was near full form and ran a 10.7 then i tbink an adrenaline surge makes jackson run 10.68 . If shelly ann ran a 10.65 the i tbink jackson runs a 10.62 . If sha carri was in front from the start so jackson saw her then i think jackson runs faster . I know shelly annis 36 yrs old but if she can get back to last years form 10.6 form and elaine has her usual great Olympic year then next year i think the winner will have to match the "real "world record of elaine at 10.54 . You might have the 4th place finisher running sub 10.6

Not surprised at all! Total knows that I have been supportive of ShaCarri the whole time without wavering! The USA has rebalanced the force in the alternate universe and we have reclaimed our greatness in Track and field. We now have the fastest man and woman in the world and they both bleed red white and blue!!!!!! So proud of ShaCarri and her personal development right in front of our eyes. Remember while ShaCarri came in last and Shelly and Shericka bombed the interview and mocked her??? Whose laughing now?? I'm going in on my Jamaican track and field media to the fullest!

I am so happy for Sha'Carri Richardson, because I personally feel like it takes a lot to rework one's way up again from ground zero all the way to the top. She has evolved and conquered - come on guys, this legit was her "Mission Impossible"!!! And what did she do? Yeah, I think we all can give her credit for this win. Congratulations to Sherika and Shelly-Ann as well, but a big congratulations to Sha'Carri Richardson for her first global title and her Championship Record!

Unbelievable performance! As soon I saw her win, I immediately had to find your channel again, as I remembered your "mini-documentary" on her. It's just astounding to think of the roller coaster of a career she's had already... at only 23 years of age. I made an audible gasp when I watched her rip off the wig and toss it in the dirt at Nationals... you can tell she's reached a completely different level mentally. If she stays focused, we could see a long reign at the top of the track and field world. Congratulations!

So happy for her - She was reasobly humble, had that 3rd place SF scare (with a HUGE margin though), was focused and won deservedly a HUGE win over the Jams. She was SO happy after her win, what an AMAZING scene, THAT is what life is about - and from Lane NINE! And while it took a few seconds, timing problems and all, at least SAFP was the first to congratulate her, even if it was rocket clear who won. Too bad for Ta Lou again again, but fuck me, if ya wanna win medals, run 10.7x or stay home, and she got a bad start - sadly for her :(

Tbh the way that Semis was set up there was always gonna be a guaranteed loser from the big 3 of Jackson Richardson and Ta Lou. I dont even know why all 3 were in the same heat lol one could have easily been moved to the third heat, that's life though. And the standard of women sprinting recently is fantastic to see I remember when high 10.7s and even 10.8s were winning WCs

10.65 into a slight headwind (-0.2m/s). With the allowable limit of 2m/s, that would be around 10.54, or around half a metre behind Flo Jo's 10.49, for which the wind reading is a bit dubious (without going into the dubiousness of all modern sprinting/T&F).

Sherika tied up last 30 and ran a race that wasn't quite natural. So sherika just needs to see if shebhas enough in the tank to run against the clock for the 200
