I hand timed Thomas's leg by stepping through frames and got about 8.67 seconds - she probably got her baton late and gave it early, but this is still very impressive. If Davis and Sha'Carri had started their runs 0.1 seconds earlier, the would have been very close to the world record.

Yea bc she was walking basically. That handoff was terrible. Gabby isn’t fast enough to hand it to her so she couldn’t get out fast. They just wanted to get the baton around. They could have broken the record.
