I now avoid all the TRP videos because they are only interesting if you know nothing about the subject matter (I didn't watch this video, I only slipped into the comments briefly to see if anyone else mentions the same thing). I hate NBC because they usually spoil the results in the video titles. Ideally, you would have a current event video with a result-less title with all this breakdown info following. That way, you get to see the event as it unfolds without the result being spoiled, and if you don't care for the endless drivel discussing things afterward, you can switch to the next video immediately. But alas, that ideal production is never going to happen.

Unrelated but just realised it’s gonna be 5 straight years of major competition (I’m from London and yes I’m not counting Commonwealth games lmao) 2021 Olympics 2022 Worlds 2023 Worlds 2024 Olympics 2025 Words There really hasn’t been a lot of downtime for these athletes, it’s probably another reason why some athletes are starting their season slow although the throwers are doing their thing right now

Sears! I think there are great storylines heading into this race. Difficult to assess the following year an athlete turns pro (Alfred). Not to mention where each athlete stands in their periodization training, but I think Sears could take this. The other athletes have Dug in for Paris and may not be ready to drop explosive times.

Obviously any of them could win, but I would think the odds are slightly stacked in favour of Marie-Josée based on how consistently she has run for the past few seasons. I'm also allowing for Sha'Carri currently running slower times and Julien having a slightly slower PB, but given that we haven't really seen that much of any of them yet this year, anything could happen. Whilst that is what the rational side of me thinks, I fully expect Julien to win with a new PB, assuming the wind is legal.

ShaCarri, Shericka, Elaine, and Shelly are all playing Possum right now; only focused on one another! I feel they are all heavily loaded and waiting until late season to peak. Although this is not ShaCarri’s natural M.O., she and Dennis have both seen this work for Jamicans, especially Shelly & Elaine, for many years, and I believe ShaCarri will play the mind-game she’s in 2022 form, but is actually peaking perfectly. Therefore, I think TaLou will spank her, the world will think ShaCarri is “slow again”, then run 10.5 in the Trials. ROFL It is either that, or ShaCarri is already finish playing her mind games, and will blow the heck up when she finally runs the 100M! I strongly feel all we see is simply a 200M issue with her trying to improve her final 50.

FREE INVENTION IDEA - THANK ME LATER On the white portion of each line, make a track (like a train track). Place a small train, holding a pole of different colors, on each track, except the lane that your runner will train in. Have a few coaches with remotes for each train control those trains at speeding it up and slowing it down to mimic the styles of real life opponents. Let your runner race against robot versions of their opponents from a different lane each time, under different wind conditions. This will work for any race. 60, 100, 200, 400 etc. Put their greatest opponent next to them, 2 lanes across, then 3, then 4 etc. Name one of those poles, Usain bolt, Flo Jo, respectively, etc. Let them beat their own records, then beat the person just above them, then eventually the greats. Do this around the World and see what new records will come about. BTW. You're welcome. Shout me out when you create it. Hit me up and break me off some of the bag.

Shakira Richardson is a straight 💯 yard dash runner and a relay coming off the home stretch he'll always win very strong and as long as she trains correctly and not in that 200 not enough leg to short good for her running speed but not in that foot race keeping it 100% real. To short for the 200. As a great athlete who knows track and field and runner both 200 and in 100. 💯% from the 80's shes not built for the winning in the 200. Great building stamina for the 100 no doubt.

I find it interesting that Richardson hasnt won a 100m or 200m race since she won that world champiinship race. We all know she is talented, my question is does she have the work ethic and drive to stay on top.

I will say this France as a country does not play with their PED testing compared to other countries especially what happened in the festina affair in 1998. It will be interesting to see who handles the PED testing in Paris I would assume it would be the AFLD

The more I see a celebration, the more I dislike the runner. I'm teaching my son not to celebrate, at most a single fist pump to self or a quick point to the sky. Flexing, pointing at your competitors, yelling, screaming...it's all about you. Except, it's not. One shows class and respect, the other is classless and disrespectful. Even if you've been trash talking each other before, it doesn't continue after. Keep your mouth shut and offer a hand to the trash talking opponent you just beat, and congratulate that same athlete if they beat you.

The video cameras like it, it gets you attention from the crowd, and it gets you on television. Great for your sponsors, too. Yeah, I'm not a fan of it either.
