This is massively useful. I gave up a ten Yr battle with weed last October and have been very focused on maintaining abstinence. Dpdr is something I was trapped in for god knows how long. I've learned from NA the importance of identification with others going thru the same thing so this is really positive. Lost is the best word to describe how it feels. Thanks to u and Nicole

Is it Dr/dp that makes you afraid to sit with yourself? Like just…. Be? Kind of where you’re always living in your head so much so that you’re afraid of your own existence?

since no one replied to this for you, I will. absolutely. that's super normal with this. it is unsettling for me. people keep saying meditation works which it actually does and helped me last time. i know it does. been doing it again this time around and was able to close my eyes and do a 10 min silent meditation. it felt good to become nothing for a few minutes. and as time goes on this starts to stick more and more. I know we will come out of this.
