what ur teaching Shaan should be taught in schools, it just baffles me that at this time and age you'd have to search all over the internet to find the answer, a licensed therapist doesn't have a clue how to deal with this when its just soo simple.

I feel you. Things changed for me when I had a night where I slept a total of 45 minutes and decided that I’m still going to go about my day as normal. I was tired as hell but I ended up having a pretty good day. It took the fear away for me when I realized that I can still have a good day even after getting no sleep.

That's a great story. I can totally relate to her. I tried meds last year, for 2 months, made me feel worse. I recently found this channel and I watch Shaan's videos daily. That's the only thing I can focus on. I can't even watch a movie or read. My physical anxiety is fading, my mental anxiety is still here, and now I have this tiredness and mild depression. Hope I am on the right track 🙏

@@mrc.p8423 When anxiety is super high sometimes, meds do work. They are not habit forming. They act quick and make you feel better. Once you feel at ease then again continue with acceptance process. If a lot is going on in mind, acceptance will anyway not happen from within in true sense

@Thebaron666
@Thebaron666 Год назад
@@hermilogarcia7510 just put every bizarre and scary though under the umbrella of anxiety. That’s all it is. You’re nervous system has been sensitized and you’re body is finding threats everywhere. It’s not about the symptoms, it’s about how to react to them. What you’re going through is totally normal. Try to respond to your symptoms as calmly as possible, even lean into them, tell your brain to bring more fear. Go about your day regardless of the symptoms. Treat them like they don’t matter and over time, pretty quickly in fact, they’ll disappear completely.
@hermilogarcia7510

@@Thebaron666 I appreciate your words. For a while there I thought I have having what they call Pure OCD. Just thinking the same negative thoughts over and over. Like questioning reality the entire day.
@Thebaron666
@Thebaron666 Год назад
@@hermilogarcia7510 I thought that for a long time as well. I had really, really messed up intrusive thoughts 24/7. It scared me really bad, I thought I was going crazy. I even got diagnosed with OCD by one doctor. Turns out that is just a label, and doesn’t mean anything. Most doctors don’t know what they’re talking about. Trust me, what you’re going through is JUST anxiety and you can overcome it completely. Once you change your response to the symptoms is when you start to heal. You really don’t have to fight or fix anything, you just need to take the fear out of the symptoms and they will all disappear over time. Listen to Shaan, he’s been through it and what he teaches is the true way to heal. You’re on the right path. I wish I found him years ago.
