Beautiful song. Strange video. Whenever I would hear the chorus "shine a light on the fake this way my peeps can have it all" I picture working class people of all races coming together to fight back against the powers that divide us and keep us poor. This video had some elements of such a unification and I'm satisfied for it.

YO! This is so ill! Per usual, the visuals and vision is on point. The best thing about Shabazz Palaces is that you can trust that everything they do will be dope af! These last two albums were not like the previous two but who wants more of the same? Born on a Gangster Star and Jealous Machines are so groundbreaking and epic, I absolutely love their new direction.

Honestly, I can't decide which is better. There are things I like so much about both! Federalist Papers, The Neurochem Mixalogue and Dèesse Du Sang are so groundbreaking! Plus Since C.A.Y.A is crazy good, not to mention EEL Dreams and FIneass Hairdresser.
