Finally after 14 years this tune came back into my head and I now know what this guy was talking about. 14 years ago my mind was locked to the info Shabazz was spitting but now it has all come to light. Lost disciples/tribes of Israel now found indeed.
I miss rap city, i miss joe clair, i miss coming home from college classes and looking at videos like this, we will have this type of music again..I can say i was at least a part of it.. I always got it in my mind

Were all Disciples in this world.....its our job as a single entity to gain knowledge of self and not to get caught up in what other people tell you to believe...........
Shabazz never got to come out with an album, at least not when this song was first made. It came during the Golden Age of The Wu from '93 to '95 when the RZA and 4th Disciple made songs, just to make them- not really to sell them.
yeah shabazz is the realest he's telling the treu meaning about life like it is in the ghetto or such 2 posabilty's death or jail if yo really live that life peace to all the wu-tang fans and the wu it self
While you're listening to JanYe - Watch The Throne and Lil' Wayne - The Carter 4. I'm listening to some real dope hip hop. Shabazz The Disciple. Get ya mind right, Peace
Even though this song was dope back in the days I used to hate it, cause I mistakenly taped over spark "mad ism" with this thought it was a blank! still have the tape today! LOL
your right man ! hip hop is dead ! this is when i tell that MC's had Voice in Hip Hop was an Art but know anybody is a rapper and thinks oo how good i am if i rhyme about shooting and hoes ! this was the Golden Age i am born from 91 but i listen to Hip hop from 70' and i am From Romania but listen only Usa hip hop Golden age ! Peace to you and to those who listen this
have any of u ppl notice Shabazz and Pun almost the same type of style when it comes to rap? not this song particulary but theres other Shabazz songs that remind me alot like Pun and some Pun songs remind me of Shabazz. the way they spit and what they spit is very similiar. biblical raps if u guys no what i mean....
I never liked this song when it was out in '94. But considering what's playing on the radio now? I would listen to this shit over all of that shit that's on the radio now.
Not necessarily on an album. Finding this track on any CD that isn't bootleg or a rare compilation would be hard. When Shabazz released this, it was in single form only. Didn't even have an album out 'til his second single, which I can't recall the name of. "Crime Story" or something similar. This particular track wasn't on the album. I still don't think this song was re-released for CD. Good luck finding it in any form outside cassette. (If something's changed, someone let me know.)
ah u caught me! i was mad slim back then as well. wow to be honest, i dont remember if it was kavalier on the remix hook. it prolly was tho. its been a while... bazz can answer that.
Yo I still have this on tape!!! ....I hate POP RAP! it's killing the soul of hip hop! this was.....dang..no comment!!!....what is this world coming to.
