You did a really fabulous job on this journal! I too am working my way through the Amity Bloom class and loving every minute of it. There is so much to learn and then add your own twist to just as you did - it's just wonderful. I hope my journal turns out half as lovely as yours did. Thank you for sharing.
Aww Thank you! It is a great glass and lots of ideas to try out! I love that they all come out so different, because of our own creative process. :-) TFW :-)
Beautiful Journal !! it’s an Artist in Bloom with your special pieces that makes it extra special. I agree with you, the class is amazing. Thank you for sharing! 🌸
How lovely your journal is! I’m also working my way through the class and enjoying and learning so much. It is very helpful to see how someone else interprets all the different elements. This encourages me to use what I have to make the journal my own.
Oh LIz!!! This is gorgeous!! It's a masterpiece!! and i LOVE how your planning on using it-favorite things. The Sound of Music paper is perfect for this- a "Happy Little Accident" (Bob Ross) and Serendipity how it ended up being used in this journal. What a treasure and you made it yourself!! You did great!! I hope you might share it again with us, as your using it. thanks for the flip thru-i LUVIT!
Thank you so much Jenny 😘 Yes I was so happy how it worked out at the end. I really do think it was meant to be. 😀 I will share more as I add to it. 🤗🙏
This journal is so beautiful...😍 I love Amita Bloom and have been on her page to watch about her curse. But I haven’t got many things. Have only been making paper crafts a bit over a year so I am afraid that I don’t have all this small special pieces. Do you think I could make one without all the special things or should I ask Amita Bloom? I have never tried a curse before and they are a bit expensive, so I want to be sure that I have what it takes. Maybe I should work on open a Etsy shop so I could sell all my journals 😃 Blessings from Denmark 🇩🇰
Crafty Cat Incorporated I live in a little country where we people don’t keep there vintage stuff. Except for postcard and they are very expensive. There are very few people who makes junk journals, I have seen about 3 or 4. But some countries close to me example Germany, they sell online but then I have to use a lot on shipping so I can be a bit difficult. I am working on some kind of advisements where I tell people to contact me if they have some old stuff. That could be the way, I think 😀🙏
Korsgaard Journals that is very smart and resourceful! I did the same thing when I taught art classes at the library, and received a ton of cool stuff for crafting. Good luck!
Thank you 😊 The class is awesome! I think you can make it special in your own way. Plus not all the items are as old / vintage as we make them look 😉 I am sure you can use the ideas and the unique ways of creating on so many other projects. I say YES take the class. 😀
I apologize. I did only watch the beginning where you talked about everyone would recognize the artist ( I didn’t) and got some inspiration from two - and was starting with the first - no names mentioned. So left my comment and moved on. Again, I apologize
