Ossie Davis should've received a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for this role. He was the elder statesman voice of reason among his much younger bus passengers.
@@highburyhoops6074 YES!! Ossie Davis in particular. If a largely Black casted film was to win a Best Picture Oscar it should've been "Get On The Bus" over "Moonlight." Both films were good, but GOTB worked on many varied and interesting storylines. But, before anyone's panties get knotted in a wad, it's just an opinion. Feel totally free to agree/disagree.
