They could have if they wanted to. Batman is not Bat Man, and even if he were, you can't trademark generic descriptive phrases. A part man, part bat would easily be described as a bat-man. As someone else mentioned, they did Aqua Man the next game. They just preferred Shade Man I guess! (edit: and yes, I am fully aware that Shade Man, nor any other robot masters, are any part human or any other living being lol. Just saying!)
Honestly, same. I love Ghost n’ Goblins, but this remix isn’t too well of a banger versus Shade Man’s theme that is over the top. This is why I never bothered with this easter egg secret.
Shade Man's Stage is definitely and totally one of THE Best of the Best Spooktober Halloween Themed Levels I can definitely get used to, from my Childhood days! It's gotten everything Halloween Fans ever wanted: Zombie Robots, Haunted Castle, Spooky Atmosphere, you name it! Shade Man is excellent, with his weapon, Noise Crush being incredibly fun to use and play around with, it’s not Rebound Striker fun, but it’s not terrible at what it does.

Ehhh. I mean, comparing Classic Series Megaman to X Series Megaman is like comparing an old car to a new car, and the only difference is that the old car is slower but easier to handle while the new car is faster but harder to handle. The X series is pretty much just fast paced Megaman. I enjoy MM7 and MMX equally so this is just my take on it
