@shadoestevens Sadly, in 1998 Orion went belly-up, and the entire catalog, including your version & Peter Marshall's versions of HS, wound up in the archives of one MGM. BTW, apropos of nothing, but one of the key elements of this version of Hollywood Squares, without a doubt, was Stormy Sachs. From the theme, to all the musical cues, he brought an energy to the show that was unparalleled. And to hear him on the Mighty Wurlitzer, coupled with 6000 people screaming their heads off, just... wow.

Hooray for Shadoe Stevens & hooray for the Davidson Hollywood Squares---the BEST version!!! (absolutely no offense meant to Whoopi or Tom Bergeron or Peter Marshall)

Hollywood Squares would make a return visit to New York in 2000, this time with Tom Bergeron as host, Whoopi Goldberg in the center square, and (until 2002) Shadoe still announcer.

@erikdraven1731 I agree; having to pick a key that you hoped not only started the car you picked; but one that started a car at all!

Best theme, best host, best announcer... if they hadn't f***ed around with the endgame for season three, this show would've lasted a lot longer than three years!
