Same. I'd play this over and over again before I waste money on the newer consoles with nothing that comes even close to as good as this, yet. I'm holding onto hope they'll make something amazing though. Right now, most things are just "okay" as a nice pass time.

+yogoshun That's cool. Shadow hearts 1 was actually my first video game ever. My dad thought it looked cool and got it for my birthday when it first came out and I was like 7 or 8. That's the only way I know about it. Replayed it when older and then again even older than that and I appreciate it so much more.

I heard the author of this game want remake this SH2 based on SH1 good ending which mean Alice alive and continue jounery on SH2 with karin koenig hope the story more btter and hoping again this would become reality

Emulator it is I guess. Can't believe older games like Legend of mana is getting a console port but not this one.

+Charlotte Blair it does, and it's really subtle too. in the fast part the song goes from being 10/8 to the last couple bars being 12/8. when attempting to learn this on bass I was trying to figure out why all the notes weren't fitting at that part, until i realized it had room for two more! haha

Same, this game brings back so many feels and seeing the character transform is still a mechanic NO other game has even attempted to hit on. The sheer number of transformations alone. You can argue Persona...but you still have a set list of like 6 or something because you have to switch them out for Macca. Yuri though? 30+ and each one feels unique. This , Legend of Dragoon were the first games i managed to replay fully through. Hell i still go back, mostly as i have yet to complete the Lesser Key.

This game is notoriously impossible to get working on any ps2 emulator (to my knowledge a few years ago) And thats why ill never sell my ps2 or covenant disk

Yasunori Mitsuda was involved in both the first and second games, along with Yoshitaka Hirota and Kenji Ito

Mitsuda was a guest composer on this one. So he was far less involved.

Yeah, what's up with that? I just heard it while playing Spyro 2 and I came here to see if anyone mentioned it. You're the only one who did. [Edit: you're the second one actually, someone else mentioned it 8 years ago o_o] I'm so curious as to how this happened. Did Yasunori Mitsuda steal the lyrics from Spyro? Edit 2: Apparently it's a Javanese/Malayan folk song entitled Seroja (Eng: "Lotus").

@@MaskedGuyCh Copeland heavily used a sample pack for spyro 2 called Spectrasonics Distorted Reality 2 to the point where his work could be considered lazy. I think Masuda just used the samples as well in some of the tracks for this game. You will hear spyro 2's ost in alot of movies and games due to this.

I first play it ten years ago and it's still my favourite game (even if I play various games since then), so I'm happy to know this gem has new players even if it is old and not very known ;)

Use an emulator for the first game, that game is insanely good.
