Honestly its unlikely he would have been stronger than he is now even if he knew about gamma ray burst Shadow surpassed atomic bombs back when he was way younger. But he decided although he could deal with one atomic bomb he couldnt deal with multiple atomic bombs from multiple sides and must continue becoming stronger. His philosophy is that there is no peak of power, only how far you are willing to go. Hence he is continiously becoming stronger. So knowing about gamma ray burst probably wont change his strengtg
