I literally cried tears of Nostalgia seeing him back. I loved Shadow the Hedgehog memes and all. Such a great game. I’ll never forget getting it for Christmas in third grade circa 2005.
Honestly I think it's likely. Some sections of Shadow's clips look like they have tweaked physics and more refined movement, he has some additional mechanics and so on. Wouldn't be surprised if this was partly to gauge interest in another Shadow game.
It won’t have guns , sonic generation was their anniversary game it be wild if they did something like that , and from this it might be after the events of the previous game so itll just play the same but with shadow , this isn’t shadow game ….it’s sonic game …with shadow

Sonic Generations already had this, which is why people aren't really excited to see it. Still, Generations is arguably the best Sonic game, so if this is all new to you... I envy you guys. Have fun.
It always technically happens and the brought back silver no matter what his always back to save his future just the next time we see him he is back because of something else instead of sonic..he came back in sonic rivals 2
It's obvious that they're doing a Shadow centric game, seeing that the Sonic Movie 3 is releasing later this year. If Sonic Team/Sega are back to giving these characters the spotlight again...then i'm praying we get Blaze and Silver centered stories in the future. Nonetheless, I'm freaking hyped!

The best thing about this is that back then as underrated as this game was, the structure of the levels were some of Sega’s best designs in my opinion. You got places like Death Ruins, Glyphic Canyon, Lost Impact, Digital Circuit, Lava Shelter, Prison Island, Space Gadget, & lastly the iconic Westopolis with cool and thoughtful details within the stages. For such a “unpopular” game somebody with enough sense is going through the closet and realizing how unfinished some of the earlier projects were. Hopefully somebody tells them that a new Sonic Hero’s 2, Silver the Hedgehog, or SA3B game would be great
seriously, i can't think of a single 3d sonic game around this era that had good straight-through level design that didn't involve the three-character system gimmick of heroes or having to constantly switch to other characters and mechanics in SA1 + 2. sa2 spent so much more time with bullshit like mechs and emerald hunting that only 1/3 of the game actually features speed stages but its considered one of the best 3d sonic games of all time lol
They slowly realising they have characters again. Knuckles got some shine and now we focusing on Shadow again. Praying they focus on Sliver next with a crazy storyline set in the future.
@@ZephyrK_ I’ve been hoping for the same thing for a few years now. It’s sega, it’s very hard to have any sort of faith in them regarding silver. It’s like they saw the that initial reaction to him in 06 was negative due to the game being rushed and buggy, and then they just threw him to the side and only added him to a game to pad up the roster or for cutscene only appearances.
Yeah, I agree. They gave significant character arcs for Amy, Tails, and Knuckles in Frontiers. On top of all that they are exploring/expanding Shadow's character . My only guess that the next characters are either Blaze the Cat or Silver the Hedgehog @@Kblack0615
As somebody who grew up playing the original shadow game on my GameCube this made me SO HYPE 😭🙌 haven’t played a sonic game in YEARS but I’m gonna have to check this out!
Agreed feels like sonic characters get the respect again they deserve. Sonic frontiers did a good job and I love how passionate they are again. It’s not perfect but they can and hopefully improve in further installments of the series
This trailer made me hyped and it also made me realize that I love the edgy era of Sonic from the 2000s the most! I'd take Shadow with a gun any day over something sterile, boring and by the numbers like Sonic Lost World with it's fondant ass looking stages.
Nope, it’ll likely be as good as Super Mario 3D World’s rerelease since they pull it off and it seems like its going good. Additional content is a nice treat since most of us that already beaten the game dont want a remaster just to play higher graphics. I personally dont want to replay the game again, but will probably do just for the additional content.
I really like that his homing attack makes him vanish with chaos snap, love it hope they maybe give us access to spear and blast too. maybe they took notes from Project 06 😂

His homing attack is the chaos blink and he has the chaos spear as a ranged attack. Nice to know he isnt a copy. If anything that type of homing attack is cooler
I feel like the only way to ever play a game with Silver, other than Sonic 06, is through fan games. He feels like just a special guest character I see every now and then.
I love how this new remaster all but confirms that Shadow at one point did use a gun in the canon timeline 😂, I honestly thought they decanonized Shadows game for awhile there, but nope, makes it all the more interesting now to see where they take this new story with him, since they all but also confirmed we will probably see something to do with Maria
AFRO- I’m taking your most recent video to tell you this in TEKKEN . LEARN YOUR FASTEST MID HIT SO YOU DONT GET BULLIED… LEARN YOU FASTEST LAUCHER … and learn your cheapest combo. And work from those .. gradually learn more combos learn other launchers encounter and then get in the heat gauge, etc. etc. you can only get better from there. I’m just starting you out of core base.
I will literally go Goku super saiyan if they release Megaman X9. Capcom did say they are planning on releasing something big and we already had RE4, Street Fighter, and I think Monster Hunter had a game but I’m praying that it’s Megaman.
2024 is the year of shadow I heard some person say that before and didn’t believe it. With sonic 3 coming out and more games and content ahead shadow is being brought back into the spotlight
This is actually a huge move from sega to work backwards with this game. I wonder if they’re rereleasing generations with better graphics then for newer consoles cuz this is amazing. Now I just want a pc port of unleashed 😢 but we all know it wont happen
I remember getting generations on my xbox when it first came out but I never got to complete it because the disc just stopped working and I was too young to buy a replacement. This is like my "second chance" 🎉
1. The real question is are we gonna see Mephiles? If Shadow's levels are him delving into his past , there's no way they can just *skip* Mephiles 2. I really , REALLY hope this means Shadow will be a bigger part of the next mainline game. Or maybe even get a sequel to his own. Its been *19 years* 🫠
I still hate how Shadow skates slow at top speed in the modern games. He needs to be skating his ass off like he did in SA2 when he's at top speed lmao.
