The radhan cheese you can't hit him with the pots. They have to land next to him behind him. If you hit him, he'll attack you. You weren't in the right spot. I tried it on NG3 1st try

You don’t even have to throw pots… you just have to walk in with the Gambit and Unseen form. When he turns around, put the mimic veil on. Then it’s over.

It seems the Radahn bug goes even deeper than I realised. Apparently (I've seen this but I didn't make a note of where) if you just use Assassins Gambit, Unseen Form and the Mimic Veil right at the start, Radahn de-aggros like he does in the second phase with the poison method, then walks out of spawn range and dies. You don't even need the poison and rot. I have a feeling this one will be patched!

I hit him with rot butterfly incantation when he flew up to nuke me right when second phase happens and it suicided him... It was weird he flew up into the air and didn't come back down lmao, it pissed me off I didn't want to cheese him

As someone else said, Rakshasa’s Armor uses the Daedicar’s Woe effect. So you’re cancelling out your own stealth

you can just crouch/run follow radahn and use poison mist behind him then after 5th proc sneak to the right wall and mimic veil...ng 8+...use fp recharge talisman...done...oh, you cheese bayle too the same way...

So one thing I noticed when doing a new playthrough and reaching to the volcano manor. The ghost at the end of the hallway that tells you to kill Rykard, his chest plate has the same symbol as the dueling shield

9:24 - The map shows dragons around the Jagged Peak the same way it does with Farum Azula, so I assume it was initially planned to have those same types of dragons added, but it looks like they haven't defined their flight paths properly at all. Interesting that they seemingly only appear at this particular vantage point/distance.

Fromsoft's ability to reuse assets is peak creativity. if you pay attention to the Divine Beast warrior fighting style their animation is very close to Gundyr the first boss you fight in Dark Souls 3. Also Putrescent Knight wields Orphan's of Kos weapon from Bloodborne.

You gotta throw the pot so the mist hits him not the pot. The pot will aggro him. You can actually get pretty close to him actually without him even aggroing him. I used 2 rotten pots.

You can inflict poison by casting poison mist (and keep crouching when there's nothing blocking the sight). Just make sure you're on mimic veil when he enters phase 2.

The pots can't land on Radahn or he will aggro, the pots must land beside him so the splash stat build up affect him indirectly.

5:23 I’ve recreated this on my 1.12 build, but he only despawns and never dies. Lately I’ve been having a harder time recreating it and I’ve concluded he can’t be deleted on build 1.12. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Pretty sure the drakes flying off the jagged peaks are intended to be that way, because on the peak you’ll occasionally see a drake’s corpse fly past just like the ones you can see from the radahn arena

Radan cheese... U can hit 1 big reed root flask, wait, tehm the second. U dont have to hit him, if u do, he attacks. Just close to him...if u use root and venon u can do like he does but 4 me was better with 2 roots(the bad red debuff, dont know name in inglish) firts take 15k so the second is the one that makes him phase, so use trhe transform item when u have casted the second. I kill him 2 days ago in NG3. with this method

Miquella plotted everything to get his cheeks clapped by Radhan and we busted them. Miquella hug just shows that his master plan was out of selfishness and love for Radhan, not to save the world.

The drakes are probably spawned and controlled by a particle system, which is likely why they're not animated. It's a "use as little memory as possible" solution.

The distant dragons/drakes on Jagged Peak can be caused by some animations be turned off at a certain distance from the player. Maybe they are animated, but it is just turned of by a incorrect LOD setting from them.

If you have the Bonnie butchering knife, and then use the deflect tier, you can strike an enemy and then go to guard and you will proc life steal as if you have the ash of war activated and then you can continue to stockpile hits use the ash of war and attain more regen

in my current playthrough i'm using the spear of the impaler and i have just arrived at the mountaintop of giants. has anyone else noticed that all the impaled giants have been impaled with a spear of the exact same design as mesmers spear. the lore implication was always that godfrey went and killed the giants. but, thats mesmers weapon

5:41 You're hitting Radahn with the first pot you throw. From what I understand the pot has to be close enough when thrown so that Radahn is caught in the Rot/Poison cloud, but you're not supposed to actually hit Radahn with it.

You can use Ground Slam AoW to get to the 3 fingers easily. Instead of platforming down, just use the AoW and it'll get you to the bottom safely. Butt, you'll miss out on the loot.

Ive seen Radahn fall off the level like that while in a normal fight. If he moves over there during one of his fast moves he’ll end up by the stairs and since there’s no collision over there then he unalives himself. Speaking of which there is a wall in the dark catacombs that has no collision so youll fall off the level if you go through it. I dont know if it got patched but it had messages all around it saying to hit it. Like a dummy I did and my forward momentum was my doom.

The same thing happened to me with Radahn the first time. The second time I just threw the pots from further back so he didn't agro when I chucked them. Killed him that exact way the second time. So just try a few steps back.

I enjoy to play as coop to defeat Promised Consort Radahn many times. Always busy to swap to Gold Scarab for a bit more runes, now I know the very sad final goodbye hug once…. Next run, back to swapping Gold Scarab 😂 Heartily wish FromSoftware will launch next release soon.

I really hope from soft simply just continues to make small additions to elden ring. I’d love to see the customization expanded. Like cloak swapping or just more settings and UI update because the fact I can’t make my font bigger makes me so mad. I’d also love to adjust colors like lettering and such. I think it would help make the game last years with smaller quality of life updates and maybe even miniature dlcs with a single quest or two around the lands between and shadow. I’d love that so much personally

I believe its because you have on Rakshasa armor on. It has a Dedicars Woe effect on it, making enemies agro on you easier if you're wearing it. Maybe because of that his agro range was increased and he was able to detect you. Try doing it with a different armor on (like Black knives for instance).

Not sure if anyone else knows this but dragons have a major weak spot in their mouth. When they are using their breath attacks shoot an arrow in his gobb and it will do triple the damage

I just noticed that in the trailer you're riding torrent in the scary woods. But in the game torrent is too afraid to appear. That must mean that there was/is a way to ride him there. Unless fromsoft is just messing with us

I got all the way to him walking away in phase 2 but he disappeared and didnt die. I ran around the arena to see if he would come back but no dice. Ended up having to quit and beat him with fingerprint shield and antspur rapier with blood ash of war. It probably has to do with your buffs. You seem to have pots buffed and also obviously the Mushroom Crown. I'm guessing that 1 (or perhaps both) of these buffs is somehow overwriting the stealth effect due to some unintended interaction with aggro generation.

Boy people be reaching for some of these things. There are only so many attack combinations you can make when you have a sword in both hands. Of course you might see a 1 2 3 combo amongst multiple enemies all with duel swords. That's like saying that Bale stole his move set from Skyrim because he breathes fire and is a dragon.

PCR is a technical nightmare of a boss and is a stain on the bosses of the rest of the game. And I’m not saying that out of my ass. Go ask anyone in the challenge run community what they think of PCR; the people who objectively are going to have more experience and knowledge than a casual player. The answers will not be positive. I have quite a number of hours on PCR alone and I know his fight fairly well myself. You don’t *need* to fight a bullshit boss just to feel accomplished. It’s a shitty ending to a good DLC. Let people play it how they want.

@@wolfiemuse You can make the fight easy by learning how to parry him, when I fight him he has no fun with me I shut his combos down completely. He only has 3 issues you have to deal with all his combos can be parried. PCR brings out the best of the best and worst of the worst. Only people like you that are bad get weeded out and you can't deal with it. The thing is though people are not actually playing the game by doing this exploit there taking advantage of a mistake by FS, which is going be fixed in the next patch.

When I try this on console (Xbox). I can get in position but don’t have a compass on my hud to line it up. I only have three hefty pots so I don’t want to waste my one shot as this cheddar solution. Anyone got an idea why no compass in the arena????

I just defeated Radahn with the pot cheese. It took me only two pots instead of three. I think the trick is to not hit him directly, but the area near him. I can't aim with pots to save my life though so it took me several tries.

I definitely noticed the Miquella hug before. Took it as a final embrace of his beloved consort before they both perish. I've only played Dark Souls 2 twice and I'm struggling to remember if I ever fought that headless body. Definitely found and talked to the head but the body I might've missed. So crazy to see the moveset recycled! I'm planning another DS2 playthrough in the near future so I'll definitely be seeking him out.
