I like how Shadow's part was "Blackhearted evil" and Sonic's was "Bravehearted hero"

I think shadow as crush 40 would've been better.

Honestly, I think Nate's version fits sonic more than shadow, unno, because of the higher voice.

Sonic deserves natewantstoble's cover. Cuz, he's cover is similar too sonic's voice

The overlapping was a little off, bit overall pretty good

The interchanging tracks sounds like my ears are being drowned with coke and sprite

I think Nate's vocals fits Sonic better and Crush 40 version's vocals fit Shadow better but that's just me. Also based Tails on a ben... I mean... speaker.

The mod looks great it just sounds awkward, if you got the instrumental and figured out how to get isolate the vocals on both versions, and set it up the same, it would sound way better

I think Shadow take the part of Crush 40 would fit better since his canon voice was deep

Fun side note: Nate Sharp (aka NateWantsToBattle), whose cover of this song was used for Shadow's side of the duel, was featured in the Sonic 30th Anniversary Symphony concert video posted to the official Sonic the Hedgehog channel, as the vocalist for "Endless Possibility" and "Escape from the City". For "Escape from the City", his backup band was Crush 40. So he gets to cross "sing a song with Crush 40 as my band" off his bucket list, the lucky bastard.

Is anyone else creeped out by Tails just staring into your soul whilst bopping his head?

Im gonna be honest, the constant switching between both versions of the song just sounds REALLY jarring. The art looks amazing, and I like the idea of the mod, but right now the execution leaves a bit more to be desired.

The version Shadow is singing is rad as hell. I don’t know if it would have fit with the game but I’ll be damned if it isn’t a good remix

If we could some how combined Natewantztobattle’s Cover and the crush 40 version of shadow’s theme...omg we would have the ultimate theme song

Blending Natewantstobattle and the OG version was a good idea in concept...but the audio differences are extremely noticeable. The pitch, tone, not to mention how you'll hear instruments then they suddenly disappear to be heard again in the next second. Maybe just stick to one of the songs at a time...idk. still very interesting

This is so cool. I love the character design of both Sonic and Shadow.

I love the Crush 40 one, and think Nate was only meh on a lot of his versions of the Sonic songs... this however going back and forth, contrasting and comparing, competing with each other was pretty cool though. Nate's voice probably fits Sonic better, but the verse bravehearted hero fits Sonic more too, while Crush 40 and black hearted hero fits Shadow more because he's an anti hero.

I played the original game it was so fun hearing this song brings back memories

I honestly really like the mod and the visuals. I think it’s really cool you did this and put this song to a track. My main suggestion is to probably put some kind of filter over one of the voices to make the transition more comfortable

The sheer quality difference between the two tracks, the fact the music is out of sync when they're singing together and the fact that Girlfriend is Tails for some reason instead of Amy.. yeah this kind of blows. If you're going to use a cover for one of them, just use a cover for both of them to avoid the quality and sync issues.

Just a helpful thought maybe try cutting it to one instrumental pitch up sonic's part a little bit and lower shadow's that's all im am amazed with the quality and want to see the person or people making these mods improve
