This opening is so ridiculously over the top that it reaches a point where I can't even cringe at it. I Am All of Me is so catchy I can't help but feel like a kid who just found out what "the f word" means. I love this game in all of its bizarre absurdity

When I was a kid I used to think that Shadow killed Sonic in this opening, it was so confusing for me 'cause Sonic appears in the first stage anyway. Plus it's kinda strange how Fang got censored for carrying a gun but years later we see Shadow cursing and killing people, different times I guess.

Not really, G.U.N was trying to capture/kill Eggman whilst also fighting off the Black Arms. G.U.N wants Eggman and the Black Arms stopped, the Black Arms want Eggman and G.U.N destroyed, and Eggman wants the Black Arms and G.U.N defeated.

Aside from the cool music, the main reason I like this intro is because it strongly reminds me of the game 'Prototype'. Both playable characters are anti-heroes and they have the choice of fighting against evil forces or the police/military in an end-of-the-world scenario. The game is just awesome and is the closest thing.

Shadow the Hedgehog is a game where you choose your path of being a villain, good, or neutral since Shadow doesn't know who he is on the inside because he got amnesia (because of Eggman or something) so this opening is showing Shadow being a good guy by killing demons and being evil by killing Sonic and the Army. Shadow hates Sonic anyway, so I can see him killing Sonic at anytime. Lol
