This is an early beta / proto demo for Shadowman, it's basically a series of empty / incomplete levels, but do you notice any interesting differences in the layouts? We played the game too many years ago! :D

There you can find some of the original developers of the pc game, as Tim Haywood (composer of the awesome music of the game) and Trevor Storey (game designer)

This was a test version we did to see if we could actually do it and to get a style down with the textures/lighting and mood. It was the first 3rd person game we had done and we started it in late 1996 i believe and created a very basic demo to show to the bosses - once they approved it we got the go ahead.

Hi Trevor, I have the n64 version, I keep the cartridge since I was a teen, is it true that this game was originally intended to be exclusive, and using the n64 disk drive?

I cant beleive that u re one of tge production team the gane is still my fav till now . Best game ever made so much work and tough was put into it . The story . The levels . The atmosphere . When i was lilttle i played it more than 27 time

Man, i don't know what was your job in your team, but i can assure that this game looked amazing for me, it was part of my childhood, and i'm happy for this, did u know that a Studio called gamescan is doing a remake? I don't know If u have a contact with Tim Haywood, but he's in the project as well

@@Krankysimo it was pc game first, then we did Dreamcast and n64, finally they wanted a ps1 version which we weren’t given enough time todo justice sadly. I was a level and front end artist on the game.

I used 'nGlide' Glide wrapper to play it perfectly under the 3DFX option. So good seeing it how it was.

hard to believe that it was like that before.. but real early development so yea glad they kept at it and can hardly wait for the Remaster on consoles ^^

Strange, it looks like a lower-res version of the game, like PS as opposed to N64. I just recently played through it and don't really recognize anything in this video. Louisiana is the only part that looks vaguely like the final game. This must've been really early in development.

Wow! It looks like the levels were originally supposed to be more bigger and 'wide-open', the tone is also more 'brighter' compared to the final game. =D It's really interesting to see what they had in mind before the release of the final game.
