Hi Star Wars collectors, so even though this Republic Fighter Tank isn't officially a vehicle belonging to the 501st Legion, I will be using it as such! It fits perfectly with my 501st Army and with my newly acquired AT-RT.

Honestly if they brought back vehicles like this with updated parts and better paint they would sell and I think the TVC community would buy them. Just my thought, I would spend money on it. Most collectors today spend absurd amounts of money on the secondary market for vehicles just like this.

I completely agree. The molds already exist, update the paint and I don’t think too many collectors will complain.

This Tank is great. These were good vehicles for the price at the time. Glad ya found one and added it to the 501st. Thanx for sharing.

They released this about 100 times back in the day. I've got one of them but it's missing the missiles and one of the side cannons. It's a good vehicle. Goes great with my (incomplete) AT-TE.

Now you just need the AT-TE to really get Rex and the boys ready to fight them clankers! What a great era, so glad I collected through it. They did the red\grey tank in 2009 then the blue\grey you have in 2010. The AT-TE came out in 2008, I bought it on Black Friday at Marshall's for $49.99. My BMF I got on Black Friday for $99. Those really were the glory years for collecting vehicles. Pretty sure I have another Cloud Car in that same packaging still mint in the box. I always bought one to keep one to open. In those days at 29.99 it was a lot easier than now days.

I Have both the standard republic red/white and this blue versions. Absolutely fantastic vehicle.

Hey Tim i have now the Bespin cloud car from Galoob,s Star Wars action fleet. I have not much space to buy the Hasbro cloud car. The Galoob one is also a nice collectors piece verry nice details.

Tim, you can open up the cockpit in a bigger way with another hinge on the tank. Looks great!

These vehicles are great if you can get them for a reasonable price, in Manchester where I'm from, there's a store in aflecks palace called "star wars guy" who has lots of this kind of vehicle. I'd personally weather it and make it look realistic. Great video as always Tim 👌🏻

you know what i hate is that if hasbro made more republic commandos for the vintage collection they would just make the animated version or just reproduce the same scorch figure; like they wouldn't actually pay for the tooling and creation of a total new figure design.

Question - Does one of the guns droop ? On mine it does and they look misaligned against one another.. drives me nuts.. so just wondering if it is just mine.
