@@tangerinerose3724 it was a best friends race, but they didn't play against the rules. The Queens can give the chop to whomever they want. Honestly Alaska and Detox deserved to be in the top3. Alaska was the best at the challenges and Detox was the best on the runway. Only Roxxxy got carried to the top4 unfairly but overall the season was pretty fair. AS1 was a mess, in AS3 Ben arrived 6th and Shangela was robbed, in AS4 Manila arrived 6th. That was Rigga Morris! In AS2 Roxxxy should have been 6th, and Alyssa and Tatianna 4th and 5th. It didn't happen, but apart from that the placements were right and I wouldn't say the season was ruined

Before they walked in you could basically imagine any one of them winning it. That's what was missing from AS3 and most certainly missing from AS4, where you thought maybe half of them could win it beforehand, at a push. There'll never be a cast like this again doing an All Stars season every year or two.

The editing did Phi Phi in, like the rant about Alyssa was not a rant at all. Others asked her questions and she answered and they edited it into a rant. You can see the difference when Alaska says she liked Roxxy being in the bottom they didn’t put the ‘shade’ noise because editors want you to like her as the winner, but Phi Phi gets shade noises with everything

dprs because Alaska called Katya “Adore Delano” the day before being shady. So when Alaska was up for elimination the next day and was pleading to Katya to save her. Katya just simply replied with “party” which is adore Delano’s catch line. And that’s when Alaska flipped out and was acting like a brat because she thought Katya was sending her home.
If for some reason she wasn’t feeling surpressed by the comments made by Michelle. She would feel even more shitty continuing down the road and potentially landing in the bottom multiple times more than Roxxxy. Adore made a good call though, she wasn’t feeling herself and knew she had to call quits asap.

i don’t know if she would’ve done well just bc of the personal things that she hadn’t dealt with yet. i wish she would come back to another all stars season, but i also know she may not want to have to deal with criticism about her style.

The only thing Katya deserved more from AS2 was to not be criticised for her Princess Diana outfit being "historically inaccurate." She did not deserve to WIN when Alaska ate everyone up in the competition
Alyssa Brock AS2 really gave detox a chance to be seen for her heart and how funny she is. The original season just didn't get as much of her being herself but after seeing her in all stars I was like oh wait I love her, same with Alyssa. Just really got to see how fun and goofy she is

This was peak drag race 100%, fandom literally grew with each episode, and they had a set of queens with a strong enough history together, a couple outsiders who were really good at drag (Katya and Ginger) and the perfect villain. Phi Phi may have been edited badly in the last episode, but she clearly took the producer's suggestions every other time.

I'll never forget how devastated I was when Adore went home. That hog body comment was the cruellest thing Michelle could have said. It was very apparent that Adore had gained quite a bit of weight since her previous season. Too openly body shame her and then expect her to continue to walk that Runway for the rest of All Stars 2 was Unforgivable. All Stars 2 was without a doubt Epic and extremely entertaining but it really needed the the light-hearted humour and sweet personality of Adore to balance it out. With all that said can never get me enough All Stars 2. Can't believe I had the full season taped in my library and they deleted all of it along with every other season.
Dixie Rae she didn’t say adore had a hog body. If you watched season 6 the hog body comment was a constant joke that adore made about herself. Michelle basically said that she didn’t want to hear any bullshit excuses because that’s exactly what was going to come out of adores mouth. More excuses. She was going to skate by n her charisma and Michelle was not here for it.
I am aware that the hog body reference originally came from adore in regards to not wearing a corset, but when she said it she was very thin and obviously nowhere near having a hog body. She had obviously become much heavier since then making the comment more hurtful and insensitive in my opinion.

The whole idea of "hog body" in regards to Adore is this attitude of "New Drag" in which younger queens believe that their personality is all it takes so showmanship is put on the back burner. Michelle wasn't going to let Adore get by just because the fans like her. She is put up to the same standards as everyone else.

Yeah but not competing. Adore has shown twice that she isn't right for a competition. I think she should be having a role in a play like STacy Lane Matthews had or guest judge a singing challenge.
The only thing that ruined this season was Alaska and Detox saving Roxxy so much. But by the rest, this is one of those seasons that have you screaming all the frigging time.

Katya not winning was RIGGAMORRIS GURL IT WAS RIGGAMORRIS!!! Haha! Nah, I really really like Katya and I think she did amazing in her season and Allstars 2 but Alaska being so consistently good it was hard to see anyone else winning but her. Even though I love Katya, I was rooting for Alaska because she was tearing those challenges up!!!! When I changed my mind and wanted Katya to take that crown was when Alaska threw that hissy fit. After that, I was done with Alaska and wanted Katya to win..
No. Alaska was a mess in the challenges. Massively favored, broke the rules of lip syncs AND the rules of the challenges. She was only good in the Snatch Game, where Katya was still second best. There are 3 wins of Alaska's where she was favoured, all of which would have gone to Katya ordinarily. Katya was better, then Detox, then Alaska.

The thing about phiphi is while everyone is making reads in a obvious and explicit way she's "being polite and nice" while reading, sounding like just mean and manipulative. I like her off show and her drag is amazing, but in this show she was sooooo passive aggressive that didn't matter how good she was doing, I didn't root for her not even once.
Phi phi changed, competition just brings out the worst side of her and then the edit plays it up. She’s a completely different person outside of drag race

I'm team Katya and love all of them in As2 except PhiPhi. But I will say this: Roxxy is stupidly gorgeous and a very good latina representation. Proud of her.

Ehhhhhhh, I'm not buying that. It was classic manipulation/gaslighting and she wanted to psych out anyone she could for her own gain, Roxxxy is the only one who took the bait. You don't go to someone right before they go on and cast that little drop of doubt without having malice behind it. Phi Phi knew what she was doing.
