Walkin' down Shady Lane...got a ticket on a train to nowhere. (Best song you never heard) Video Produced, shot & edited by Danny Pickeing & Janice Dempsey
Excellent! I remember when Al and Greg were playing in Howe II in L.A. in the 80s. Fantastic band. In my opinion that band really could have been the next Van Halen. Al is as great a singer as his brother Greg is a guitarist.
This is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! Al sounds PHENOMENAL, and Greg, well he's always unbeliveable. Such a touching, beautiful and well composed track. Can we have a full album of this please!!!
As it always has - the brothers sound absolutely amazing. Although this definitely showcases Al's singing, it reminds us all how versatile Greg's playing is. Great job Howe brother's - hearing this brought me to my own place and made my day - thank you.
Coming back to this song again. These two need to release an album. Greg has an amazing singer right in front of him with his brother. Make the damn album and I'll buy it! The Ritchie Kotzen version lacks something this track has, likely authenticity as someone else said.
What a fantastic song and Al's voice fitting so well. Well done Howe brothers ! This is the ballad of 2020 which earns a grammy award, I'm so pleased getting such fantastic music in a time that's overwhelmed by barbie dolls and plastic grooves
Wait, HOLD IT! ALBERT HOWE!? Sounding AMAZING! Where can I get more Albert Howe? I've been wondering what happened to Albert after Howe II, this sound fantastic! The Howe's obviously need to put together another album. I like Kotzen, but this is a MUCH better sounding track. This sounds genuine and truthful, and is sorely needed in todays music world.
Wow I had not heard any Al Howe offering since Howe II's "Now Hear This" in the early 90's..!! His voice sounds even better now!! And from Greg I'm hearing almost subtle hints of "A Delicacy" from that very album. Both Howe brothers sound great here..!! 😄😄😄
my last memory's of Greg and Al were back in the early 70s when we were kids at the park pool. In my mind I can still see the water dripping off Gregs curls as he shivered after getting out of the pool.
It was great to hear you guys making music together again. Al thanks , for agreeing to sing this , you made me very happy indeed. For which I am extremely grateful , this has been a dream of mine for a long time. Thank you Greg , thank you Al , God bless you all. P.S. sorry for the delay. Greetings from Poland. Rafał. 🎸
Al is back!!!!! Howe II was my band!! Then it wasn't : ((((. Al, I love your singing!!!! You are still THE MAN!! Probably a lot more humble, better man. That's all of us, brother - keep learnin', keep burnin'! God bless you and Greg for the joy you bring to the world : )))))))))))))
Richie's version is vocally well done, but this one with Al, you can hear the emotion inside of it in ways that Richie doesn't do because he didn't write it. Al, well done!!
Awesome to see Al doin great and still making music! I still listen to those HOWE band albums - you guys absolutely went under the radar for those! Hope we get more in the future🙏🏻✌️
Al pronunciates words better than Richie can, couldnt understand some of them with Richie, but Richie brought some element to it Al didnt, those certain high notes that give ya goose bumps . Both did a GREAT job.
This is so awesome! I love the Kotzen version but to hear Greg do this with his brother is a treat. I'd love to hear a whole record like this. This is a treat. So was Al the guy that Kotzen was talking about who sang the song better than him?
The real sad part is Howe 2 should have "never" broken up because they could have been as big as guns and roses. Greg is such a true talent on guitar and no other project he did ever came close to Howe 2 potential! Smfh🙁
Ain’t that Al Howe?? This song Greg played it live I forgot the name of the singer young kid good voice but the description says that Greg wrote the song with his brother but never got released. Wow it’s great to hear the original voice of this song. The way it should of been.
Hey man, I remember hanging out with you in PA , you were the coolest! I must say your voice has gotten better in time. this version should have been on the record.
@@PickeringDempsey that's what he plays on videos to show people a product of his sponsor... Musicians on studio **recording** that's another story.. just cause Kiesel sponsors him doesn't mean he has to record with a Kiesel.
Angel, Greg is my brother-in-law. Trust me he does not own a Fender. He has a bunch that he’s designed for a few companies but no Fenders in his home studio. Fact. Doesn’t use em. But he is a master of sounds so easy to make that mistake.
I know these guys from the 80's. Jammed with Greg before. Too bad Al had issues. He has a great voice and If he cleans up his act and stays out of jail he will be great!
